“As stated in recent reviews, Dr. Tran is amazing. Especially with my daughter. The lady who checks you out and orders and does measurements has always been so kind and understanding! My daughter couldn’t choose between two glasses and she told me that our insurance covers two pair a year after seeing my daughter was having trouble choosing, and even helped her narrow them down !

My only concern would be the same as other reviews when it comes to the front staff. I have too, came in and waited in line and been told I was late after I know the staff member seen us standing and waiting. On another occasion I was rushing to get to my daughter’s appointment after getting her from school and didn’t grab my license. I was asked if I had her insurance card and my ID, and I said no I requested a card be sent in the mail and haven’t received it and I didn’t have my ID because I had been rushing and left it at home and the staff member rudely said “You don’t have your drivers license with you” in a judgmental way. I felt like a child and like I had to explain why I didn’t grab it, which to me is not professional at all making someone feel that way and I have been in healthcare for over 10 years. In my case it has always been the same front staff. I know things can get overwhelming but it seems to be a common issue with the same front staff which is the face of the practice when you come in.“

Last year, my husband made an appointment with Dr. Locke and, this is the first time that he has not required any adjustments to his eyeglass prescription (He has been wearing glasses for over 50 years. ) I cannot speak highly enough of her support staff as well, the fittings for the frames went more smoothly than we ever could have anticipated. We will be long term patients for eye glasses.“

“Edited to add that it is the office in Tipp City, not Huber Heights.I needed to find a new office and this one was close so I figured why not? My appointment was this morning, the wait was short and the staff was really nice. When it was time to choose my glasses, they were very helpful in recommending frames and colors. They listened to what I liked and did not like, and helped me to pick the right fit for my face. I walked out confident in my choice, even though it was way outside of what I would normally gravitate to, but I did not feel rushed and pressured.“

“I just established with Dr McManus as I needed a new eye doctor after having moved back to the area. I was impressed by his availability to get me in quickly as a new patient. His front desk staff was courteous and helpful. He performed a thorough exam, explained things well, and was the most proactive optometrist I have had in terms of explaining possible risks associated with my particular eye features. I was very happy with my visit and would definitely recommend Dr. McManus!“

“Has an exam and the doctor was great and very informative on my vision. The lady working the desk to purchase glasses from is another story. Not friendly at all and really did not seem to want to be working there or give me the time of day. I gathered my prescription and will get frames somewhere else.“

“My experience was amazing!! I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment time and was seen right away. My exams were very quick. I enjoyed the hybrid exam!! I went and picked out the frame I wanted and it took about 10-20 minutes to speak with a specialist. The specialist that I talked with was super friendly and just very knowledgeable she explained to me my results and the different options that are available for glasses. Way better experience than what I received at Walmart. I was able to get my glasses the same day. The glasses are a little pricey but I can finally see and that’s what matters!“
