We unfortunately hired an inexperienced contractor to initially update our master bathroom and fix a leak issue, but they ended up making it worse. Our neighbor referred us to Elite, and working with the Elite team restored our faith in humanity. They are extremely transparent about expenses, options for finishes, and how long our project would take. The team guided us throughout the whole process and made sure that we visited their showroom (and partner showrooms) to ensure we inspected everything we picked out. While they were fixing our bathroom they uncovered so many other issues the other contractor left behind. The team walked us through what they needed to do to make it right. We appreciated their professionalism and attention to detail. Getting on Elite's book is worth the wait! “UPDATE: In September, one month after Jeff finished our deck, there was a strong storm and our neighbor's massive tree fell on the deck, destroying the privacy wall and causing damage to the posts, along with other damage to our house. Jeff was adamant on making sure our deck was fixed right. Upon inspection of the frame of the deck, it was PERFECTLY INTACT, just as square and level as the day he built it. That speaks volumes about Jeff's craftsmanship. Of all the contractors we've worked with over the years, Jeff is by far the best. He truly cares about the people he works with and the job he's been tasked to do. He will always be the person I recommend to anyone thinking about having a new living space built onto their home. Any big home project can be nerve-wracking, but working with Jeff was a breeze. He took all the anxiety out of everything we were worried about. From dealing with the city on permits and reworking the schedule, Jeff made sure that we were 100% happy with the outcome. Bradford came in, their man found every problem listed in the very complete house inspection that had been done; I am %100 happy with their job and would recommend Bradford to anyone.“

“Over the summer we had Cai Cabinetry install for our new kitchen. Not only was the work gorgeous but it was fast and efficient. They were very nice to work with and made sure we were as educated as we wanted to be, and satisfied at every step.

This past week a cabinet door broke due to a dumb accident on my part. They immediately sent out a guy to fix it, no questions asked.

“We used Columbus Granite for 3 projects, two visits to our home. First time for kitchen counters and bath vanity top. We were so impressed, we worked with them again for another bath vanity top. It's easy to look at the inventory, Jen is always helpful and you know what to expect as far as estimate and process for completing the project. Everyone who came to our home was courteous and careful which can be hard to find when you have people working in your home. No issues we were not informed may happen and the site was clean when they finished. We'd use them again.“

“Overall the experience with Thompson was a positive one. I had significant damage to my kitchen because if a fire. I also had much smoke damage to several rooms in my condo. Thompson was very efficient in getting work lined up to take care of it all. We did have a glitch with getting the cabinets replaced due to the manufacturer’s fault but Tony and Carolyn worked very hard to resolve the issue. Troy in particular did a great job painting the kitchen and ceiling. He went the extra mile when installing the cabinets to make sure that job was perfect and it was!“

“I had hail damage on my roof. My husband was in the hospital and I was able to get the roof done thanks to Adam. He handled the insurance for me and it all worked out perfectly. After the roof I was looking for gutter toppers. I had quotes from companies wanting $15 to 20 k for the job. I was about to give up and Adam had stopped by to look over the toof. He said he could get me gutter toppers for a much more reasonable price. They put them on and they look great. Don’t know how well they work since they were just installed but I am sure they will do the job. Thanks to Adam Don and the two young guys that did the gutters. I will use them again for any future projects.“

They were here just about everyday. Progress was constant. In comparison, a house just down the road started a garage to master bedroom conversion within days of our project. Ours was done in about 4 months... even with the unforeseen hurdles that come with such a massive undertaking. My neighbor? They have had a blue tarp over the build for several months (but it does appear to be moving forward again). I highly recommend the Cleary Company. “I can't say enough good things about Lyle Environmental. We have an older home and were concerned when we found asbestos and mold. They took care of the issue for a VERY reasonable price and all of the employees I encountered were friendly and incredibly professional. Once they were finished, they were so clean and organized, it was almost like they were never there. The representatives at the office are also very accommodating and kind, which goes a long way when dealing with an issue such as this. Lastly, I've been lucky enough to have Tom, the owner, out to our home for some follow up concerns and he is so knowledgeable and understanding when speaking to his customers. “We worked with Scott Hall Remodeling to remodel our kitchen. Our experience with their team was great from beginning to end. We met with one of the owners, Bryn, several times before feeling ready to commit to our project. Bryn and his team were patient with us, walked us through everything, and answered all of our questions and concerns. The design process was as overwhelming as you would expect, but Callie, their designer, was wonderful and walked us through each step, making it as easy as possible. She tweaked our design with different options and helped us make decisions. She was always available for a quick call or text when last minute things would pop up. Construction wasn’t as messy or intrusive as we were expecting. All precautions were taken to minimize dust and disruption to the rest of the house, which was wonderful. Dan, our project lead, was the best. He took so much pride in his work and it showed in everything he did. His attention to detail and craftsmanship were meticulous. We were so happy to have him on our project. There were several other people who helped on our project and everyone was very knowledgeable, professional, and did impeccable work. When our project was finished, Bryn circled back around with us to make sure everything was perfect and all loose ends were resolved. We really can’t say enough good things about our experience. We love our new space and couldn’t be happier about choosing SHR….looking forward to doing another project with them!“
