“We worked with Scott Hall Remodeling to remodel our kitchen. Our experience with their team was great from beginning to end. We met with one of the owners, Bryn, several times before feeling ready to commit to our project. Bryn and his team were patient with us, walked us through everything, and answered all of our questions and concerns. The design process was as overwhelming as you would expect, but Callie, their designer, was wonderful and walked us through each step, making it as easy as possible. She tweaked our design with different options and helped us make decisions. She was always available for a quick call or text when last minute things would pop up. Construction wasn’t as messy or intrusive as we were expecting. All precautions were taken to minimize dust and disruption to the rest of the house, which was wonderful. Dan, our project lead, was the best. He took so much pride in his work and it showed in everything he did. His attention to detail and craftsmanship were meticulous. We were so happy to have him on our project. There were several other people who helped on our project and everyone was very knowledgeable, professional, and did impeccable work. When our project was finished, Bryn circled back around with us to make sure everything was perfect and all loose ends were resolved. We really can’t say enough good things about our experience. “I had a bathroom remodel completed in one bathroom. I also had a vanity replaced in a second bathroom. When Dave came out to quote me a price he was fair and reasonable. He started the remodel within a couple days. He helped me pick out finishes and details to really make the project look complete and beautiful. When there is a remodeling project I have in mine my first thought is time to contact Dave to see what it will take. I can texted him during the work day and he always gets back to me at most within a couple hours. Other places may take a day or two. “I started using this company in November 2020 to fix 51 year old garage ceiling that was collapsing. I then used them in 2021 to gut the kitchen and replace everything, and fall of 2021 to replace front doors. Jan-March of 2022, they gutted the master bath and in May replaced exterior trim. They have been outstanding to work with, this is why I keep using them. Given the pandemic, and supply issues, I appreciate Kristy and Dan's communication with me, and Kristy's help in selecting cabinets, back splash, and flooring and faucets and sinks and doors.“

“OHR finished our basement and we highly recommend them. We chose OHR because they didn't try to pressure us, and did not try to push a "cookie cutter" project on us. Everything was customized to what we needed and wanted, and they worked with us to maximize what we got for our budget.A few things that stand out:1) Communication and Timeliness: The project started almost exactly when they predicted it would, and was finished almost exactly when planned. The man in charge of our job (Todd) was here almost every day, and on the few days he wasn't here he would text to let us know not to expect anyone and why. He also always let us know when to expect subcontractors like electricians and plumbers. Jeff (co-owner) was here regularly to work and check up on the job. No one came through our home that we did not expect, and everyone was respectful and friendly. Our dog loved having so many visitors, and she has been a little depressed since the job ended because she's not getting as many belly rubs now.2) Quality: Everything is well-done and customized to what we wanted. They really took their time on things like cabinetry and moulding. They even went back around and caulked to seal any tiny gaps between the floor moulding and wall, and they took their time installing our cabinetry so that it looks perfect. Renovation is messy, but they kept the mess in the basement to a minimum and upstairs offered to mop up the floor between the basement and back door. They also took into account things that you wouldn't see after the job was done, like noise dampening between a bedroom and the unfinished part of the basement containing the furnace and water heater, and extra blocking behind the drywall for heavy items we intended to hang on the wall like a tv.3) Cost: We chose OHR because of quality, not because they were the cheapest, but even so they worked with us to get as much as we could for our budget. An example that stands out: The job was supposed to begin in late January/early February. During the week between Christmas and New Years they learned that prices on drywall were going up significantly on January 1st. They let us know, purchased the drywall before that happened, and brought it to the basement during that holiday week to avoid that price increase. Additionally, we chose to do the painting ourselves to save money, and they were careful to work time for that into the schedule before installing cabinetry and finish moulding so that we wouldn't have to paint around it. On the few occasions that an unexpected charge came up (for example, the shower pan we'd chosen was delayed by months and the one they could get right away was like $200 more) they let us know what the charge would be in advance and got our approval first.My only complaint about this job is that we didn't do it earlier. We love our basement, and would use OHR again.Services: Custom kitchen cabinet construction“

“The company did an excellent job. They were thoroughly professional and the work was done to perfection (literally). The flooring and trim look beautiful and the work is very detailed down to the last bit of trim. The tile in the foyer and half bath was also well done as were the installing of a new pedestal sink in that bathroom. The workers also cleaned up every day following the days work and they even cleaned the new wood floors once the job was finished. We are very happy with the work and the price and would certainly call Boyden Renovations again if we have additional remodeling work.“
