“Schindler Hardwood is probably the best hardwood refinishing company I've ever worked with. It started when Kevin came out to give us an estimate and went into great detail about how and when to re-introduce, pets, furniture, carpets etc. so the floors had time to cure properly. The workers started on the day they said they would and finished early. Ed (the owner) was hands-on the whole time and gave me updates along the way. They even worked week-ends so we could come home to finished floors. And the floors are beautiful! The stain and polyurethane are evenly applied and the floors are perfectly sanded. They had to replace a couple of boards due to damage and it looks seamless. We are so pleased! I won't work with anyone else from now on.“

“Phil and his crew did fantastic work and navigated very annoying city government bureaucracy to get this stretch of sidewalk done faster than I would expected. They got the city to remove the tree that was heaving the sidewalk and even got them to grind the stump. They were back out the day after Christmas and got this done, start to finish, in 6-7 hours. They even very nicely fixed the broken part between the stairs and the sidewalk, which I didn't expect. Any time I need concrete work, Able Ready is who I will be calling. Oh, and did I mention his was the lowest bid that I got? Yup, I'm a happy camper.“

We had a great experience at Al Smith. Stopped in one day, looked at samples and narrowed it down to one we liked. Next day, they showed up to measure and got a total price the day after. Their price per sq. Ft/yard included padding and installation.
Carpet arrived within a week and a half or so and was just installed this week. The installers did a great job and we are happy with our experience. Glad to support a small business!“
