The funeral itself went off without a hitch at our end, which I'm sure meant he worked very hard on his end. “Babitt Busch provided an unforgettable and unique experience for our family to pay tribute to my husband Gerald who was an historian and reenactor for many years. The final endeavor he studied and collected for was Viking History and that theme was incorporated in this tribute. The casket spray was a woodland creation rather than the traditional roses or flowers and our visitors were just amazed when they saw it. The coordinator Caitlin made that happen and this was a really great tribute to him and our guests got to remember him in the way they knew him best from woodland Indian reenactor up to the present. A true result of being able to think out of the box and it was overwhelming. A perfect farewell to an amazing husband, dad, and remarkable friend to many.“

“Jardine Funeral Home was absolutely wonderful during such a painful time. They were patient, thoughtful, and extremely helpful. Also, the facility is absolutely beautiful. The quality of the viewing was outstanding.

They went over and above in so many ways, such as Jonathan emailing me my moms fingerprints when I told him simply in a 30 second passing that I would probably be calling to request them. He also made the most beautiful slide show we not expect. They dotted every “I” and crossed every “T”. Aaron reminded me of a comforting priest, so I was not surprised that he originally started out in seminary school. Such a kind and thoughtful man that I felt generally cared about. Jason really helped us make numerous decisions less overwhelming and lightened up the mood a bit, which he could tell was what we needed at that time. They were always available to answer many questions from 3 different family members, often the same repeat questions and were still extremely kind and patient with us. They spent a lot of time on us. “I had such a kind experience with Joe. He was so caring, empathetic and took care of my needs. I lost my husband of 27 years unexpectedly and never had to deal with a Funeral home before he explained everything, gave me time and even provided water, juice and snacks. If I could give Joe more than 5 stars I would. The front desk lady was so kind and even listened to me when I called being so devastated. 10/10“

“I pre-planned my final arrangements at Sunset this past Friday, 6/27/2025. The process was amazingly easy and completely stress free. Laura and Kelsey worked with me to determine exactly what I wanted. I was never pressured and there was no upsell (although I chose the most expensive urn, but that's on me!). The entire process was pleasant (which is not what I expected). Their new building is modern and comfortable. “This cemetery is a beautiful place, filled with lovely trees and wildlife that I enjoy seeing each time I visit. People here are hard-working and friendly. Each day I visit I see them working--cutting grass, opening a grave site, chopping up trees that have fallen in recent storms. My husband's grave was covered completely with dirt shortly after the burial, his grave marker was placed a day after it arrived at the cemetery, and his plot has been seeded with grass. I recently ordered a vase container for fresh flowers. The assistant who handled the ordered treated me warmly and even called me the next day when the vase container was set at the grave. I constantly see a white car driving around and monitoring the place, so I always feel safe there, as do others who walk through for exercise or take their pets for a trot. I feel the place is well cared for daily. Many grave markers are covered over with grass; some are quite old, and it appears that family have not been there for years nor done any maintenance around the memorial sites. I recently located my great grandfather's site, and I plan to trim the grass around it and add a fall wreath.“
