“I was moved to UH Avon Hospital after leaving St. John's Medical Center for rehabilitation to primarily strengthen my legs after a fall at home caused by the side effects of a medication I was taking. I can say without a doubt that coming here was the best place I could have gone. Everyone here including office staff, doctors, nurses, aides, dietary, cleaning, and especially the therapists, are not only very friendly but compassionate as well. I worked with several physical and occupational therapists, but mainly Patty and Mary. I can't say enough about how knowledgeable they all are and how each in their own way identified areas to work on with me. My progress in 7 days has been remarkable. Words cannot express how grateful I am to each of them for getting me very close to my baseline. If you need rehabilitation of any kind, UH Avon Hospital is the place to be.”
