“We have been patients at the Brooklyn location for many years and have had nothing but positive experiences . In the past every one has been very helpful and kind . Unfortunately, there is always that one instant where professionalism lacks. On June 16th, I was treated at the ER and was asked to contact my doctor to thoroughly explain the results. I called and my doctor but she was not available due to prior responsibilities/appointments.I made an appointment for when she would be back . I completely understand I am not the only patient . I called back and ask for some onto call me who would be able to explain briefly on what was stated.I am aware that due to privacy they can not go in full detail but I have had in the past her assistants call me .THEY GAVE HER A MESSAGE Today 6/17/2026 WAS NOT ONE OF THEM. I recieved a call from nurse Karen who was very rude and curt in her responses. I don't even know what her purpose of calling me was because she was not helping what so ever. She asked me What did they tell you at the ER ? If I new Why would I be calling your office several times to find out??? It was as if she was being bothered. She actually told me SHE WAS JUST CALLING ME BACK BECAUSE THEY ASKED HER TO.At this point I was so upset I asked her did she even look at the notes .She then said no and informed me me the doctor wont be back till month's end.Where my response was pretty much she'd been no help. As I stated before everyone in the past has been quite awesome but there's always gonna be that one individual who needs a class in common manners and empathy on all aspects when dealing with patients. Respect goes a long way. My reaction depends on your action Nurse Karen. Very unfortunate. Try better.”
