“If you need glasses, there is no one better than Ben at LensCrafters in Westlake! He is always great and wants your glasses to be perfect. Always a super nice experience.“
“Excellent pediatric optometrist!!!! From the from initial call with the desk receptionist to the vision screening…TEN STARS!Knowledgeable and friendly… Had my kiddo comfortable and cracking up laughing…“
“SkyVision runs like a well oiled machine. The testing is extensive but each station moves smoothly. Everyone keeps the patients informed and moving.“
“I used to be very near-sighted, and I can't wear contacts any more. So, glasses. I like to have glasses that complement my outfits. My prescription changes rather quickly, too, or did, from cataracts.About six (?) years ago, I complained to a friend that I couldn't find pretty or stylish glasses. I wanted red or turquoise, and cat-eye if possible. The mall optical stores sold boring colors and unflattering shapes--the upper part of the frame slanting downward so I always had a hang-dog look. My friend pointed me to Eye Candy, and boy was I surprised when I walked through that door! YES to colorful lenses! YES to cat-eye shapes (which for me are much more flattering)! YES to a sense of fun and originality! I have never looked back.Glamour! Style! Personality! An element of playfulness, too!Eye Candy's prices for frames and prescription lenses were a little BELOW the shopping mall glasses store's. And these are for Paris-designed frames. I don't know how they do it. I guess they aren't paying shopping mall rent. (They also gave me a candy bar, gratis. Oh, and pretty eye-glass cases. The shopping mall stores don't even give you a case, grrrr.)I am a spendthrift, I know, but I always buy two pairs, one in each color that I customarily wear. And Eye Candy had MULTIPLE options for my favorite colors--orange, red, turquoise, blue, multi. The first time I got a new prescription, I was conservative and just got red--my sister's advice--black is boring and unflattering. I know black is supposed to be "neutral," but I've been color-analyzed and was warned against black, which makes my complexion look dull and sallow. And, YES, the lady who helped me look knew all about color analysis (unlike the shopping mall clerks). The next time, I had gotten a little extra money, so I got two pairs--orange and aqua. I switched them off depending on my mood and wardrobe choices.A third visit, some years later, and I got orange, sapphire, and a playful multicolor. For all moods. Then I got cataract surgery. Oh, well, no more Eye Candy. But I got looking at myself in the mirror and I had these bags under my eyes, and I can't wear eye makeup because it irritates my eyes. I thought, well, sometimes people (John Lennon?) wear glasses as a fashion accessory. So I went back and asked if they could put blank lenses in my old frames. Yes, they could! But then I also thought, why not get transition lenses so they color in sunlight. This cost, of course, but I loved my glasses. And oh, I found this crazy pair with Crayola-colored fragments, perfect for an orange dress I plan to wear to a very special event.Eye Candy is just Cleveland based. The owner orders frames directly from Paris, Italy, etc. They periodically have trunk shows, little parties to show off their new stuff. And very personalized service. The lady who helped me with my recent choices was stylishly dressed in kitten-heels and an adorable short skirt. She "got" me immediately--color, style, level of craziness (they have some sedate and some intensely wild selections). The owner is similarly intuitive about one's personal style--and level of wildness. As I was leaving, a guy came in with his wife. They selected orange frames for him. Totally suited him, very masculine-looking guy.Highly, highly recommended.“
“I now have been here twice - last time my doc was great. I had less expectations this time because how could it be better. Dr. Sterna and staff exceeded my last visit. To get here, I drive by two other eye docs that would be more convenient but when you find a place like this, doesn't matter how long the drive is. I have already and will continue to recommend Madison Eye care to anybody and everybody.“
“I've been going to the Berea location for several years. Like the doctors and staff so much I've referred 3 others here.“
“I have been wearing glasses for years. My typical eye care choice is SVS in Mentor. The staff is great but the optometrist was what seem as a factory line mentality. So my last meeting the optometrist has retired. So that sent me in search for a new optometrist. It is currently difficult getting an eye appointment from SVS. My search lead me to Pearle Vision in Westlake. The staff is really down to earth and kind. But the star is Dr. Lam. She is very patient orient. Like I said I've bee glasses for AR least 50 years, she explained every test and result to me. She doesn't talk down she is just so passionate about her job. I didn't purchase glasses so I am not sure about the technicians other the greetings and checking out after my exam. They were great. My prescription hasn't changed enough to need purchasing glasses. So they didn't have to put up with me. LOL“
“I have been to a couple eye Dr's over the years, and Dr Hults has definitely set the bar. Great experience, and ensured that I had everything correct before I left!“
“I haven’t been able to read through my bifocals for years! I always had to take my glasses off to read. My perscription from Dr. Kaye is right on! I don’t have to constantly pull my glasses off and on to read fine print.“
“The doctor was wonderful. Everyone helped me out. The staff was perfect and I will always refer someone to go back there. I appreciate the help and thanks!“
“This was my first time visiting this facility/Dr. Novak, and due to a last-minute scheduling conflict, I had to bring my 4-year-old son with me to my eye exam. I had never brought a small child with me to an appt like this so I was little nervous. Both the staff and doctor went out of their way to accommodate me, and even let my son “help” with a couple things and sit in my lap at times. In addition to being pleased with the overall service, I was very impressed by how accommodating they all were and how welcome/engaged they made my son feel during the hour-long appt. Definitely 5-stars.“
“I have ordered eyeglasses with Warby Parker three times -- twice for myself and once for my son. I adore my frames, and the prices are reasonable for fashionable glasses.“
“My experience was excellent, I would recommend anybody with vision concerns to Dr. Chatterjee. He and his office were patient, thorough, efficient, and informative. I felt my vision was as important to them as it is to me.“
“I went in looking for a reasonable priced frame, I had been to many other places looking. Erin helped me decide on a few I liked. Noone there tried talking me into more expensive lenses or frames. She informed me the glasses would be in 7 to 10 days..got them in 6. I am very happy with the service she provided. The frames and lenses come with a 1 year warranty if they break. I do highly recommend looking here for your eyewear needs.“
“Quick, friendly service. Dr. Verlich and his staff were very knowledgeable and accomodating. Found the perfect glasses and sunglasses!“
“Very nice location. Bright, new and contemporary. Easy to find right on Detroit road. The people are very friendly, glad to be of assistance, and knowledgeable about their tasks and make sure you understand what each test is about.Dr. Steele, ( my doctor) is thorough, professional and makes sure I feel comfortable with understanding the outcomes. They stock a large variety of designer frames and speciality lenses.“
“I started going here a couple years ago after I moved to the area, and haven’t even thought of going anywhere else. Everyone that works here is incredibly kind and helpful. I can tell that customer service is a priority here. Dr. Goode is knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have. I recommend Avon Lake Eyecare to everyone looking for an eye doctor.“
