“I needed central AC installed in my home and I wanted to support a local business during this pandemic so I shopped around. The first company I called didn’t do installations but they recommended Admoore Heating and Cooling to me so I called them. I had the outside unit but it wasn’t hooked up to anything. The man I spoke to spent time on the phone with me, getting part numbers for my furnace and outside unit. He took time to explain everything. He then shopped around to find me an AC part that would fit my furnace. He quoted an estimated price. I agreed and they were out within a few days. (He had to order the A-coil needed so that’s why it took days). One man came out and installed the whole thing. Here’s the kicker: I thought my outside unit had been drained of refrigerant when the furnace was installed years earlier, so his quote included filling that up. When the guy came out to install it, he told me there was still refrigerant in it so it was MUCH cheaper than what they had quoted me! He didn’t have to tell me that! They could’ve charged me for a full fill and I wouldn’t have known...BUT THEY WERE HONEST! They came when they said they would, the original quoted price was very fair, the work done was good (2 months in and AC is still working great!) and they were honest about the refrigerant and work that was done. “I contacted Ravenna Oil to request a quote for a potential oil furnace replacement. After reviewing my options, I decided instead to proceed with an electrical panel upgrade and cold‑climate heat pump system through Apollo Heating and Cooling.
I then contacted Ravenna Oil to request a paid pump‑out and disposal of my existing residential heating oil tank, independent of any furnace replacement. I was informed this service would not be provided because I was not replacing my heating system through their company.
Aging oil tanks present known environmental and financial risks, and responsible decommissioning is an important standalone service. Because Ravenna Oil declined to perform this work, I hired Emerald Environmental to complete the tank disposal.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend Ravenna Oil.

You have great technicians who genuinely care about your customers and your business. I wrote this review to make the company aware of some concerning behavior involving an phone operator, because your employees rely on their jobs to support their families. I want your business to continue to succeed, even though my family has since moved away from oil.

“Steve is an honest and hardworking guy. He was actually a few hundred dollars more for us compared to other quotes. His demeanor and honesty is what won us. He came to gave us a quote and found a safety issue with the furnace. He fixed that issue and didn't charge us a cent. He said he would never leave knowing there was a safety concern. I offered to pay him, but he refused my money. This was just during the quote time and he had not yet been awarded the job. If you're looking for a down to earth and honest HVAC guy, look no further. Don't call the big businesses as they will upsell you anything they can.“

“After looking at reviews I decided to give Jarvis heating & cooling a call. Maggie answered the phone and setup an appt for the following day to come out to the house. I was originally just asking for the a/c and furnace to be replaced. When Casey and Maggie came by he went up into the attic and checked out all of our duct work as well. It turned out there were a few broken areas that needed to be replaced. Most contractors would have just replaced what I asked for and not looked any further. He gave me some recommendations on how he would update the system if it were his own home which I appreciated. He still gave me two quotes depending on which route I would prefer to take and we decided to go for a full reduct. I decided against getting additional quotes as I really felt comfortable with Maggie and Casey. They seemed to be very trustworthy people which was important to me. The quotes that came back were just a bonus! I was expecting the price to be much more. The job only took about 4.5 days and I was sad to see them go as I really enjoyed talking with them. They are a hoot! I was more than happy to have been able to support a family business and the result is phenomenal. This man knows his air flow! We will 100% be calling them back when it’s time to replace our water heater.“
