I ordered a dress online for a destination wedding I'm attending, and of course, it was delivered much later than expected and it didn't even fit! I received the dress Monday night, and visited Village Cleaners on Wednesday at 8:30 AM, with a very large request. I needed the bust taken in and the bottom hemmed - I desperately pleaded with the staff - I knew I was asking a lot in a short amount of time as my flight leaves on FRIDAY AFTERNOON. I got a text message on Thursday at 2:30 PM that my dress was ready... I could not believe they accommodated me so quickly. The women working there were the sweetest and most understanding, I am truly grateful for their quick and high-quality work and I definitely recommend them!

The owner John is a really standup guy. Very honest super reasonable. Store is awesome and full of really cool collectibles, comics, and authenticated signed memorabilia. Purchased some signed rocks memorabilia, and was more than happy. A++++++

When I was looking for a new hair girl I took the recommendations from Bad Mom’s Fb group and made an apt with Lindsey. That was a couple of years ago & even when she moved from Wantagh to Sayville I knew I was just going to be exploring Sayville. There was no way she was getting rid of me that easy. As most women know - a hair apt can take a ltl while. We sit there and start with small talk but after years & hours in a chair, those convo’s change. They become deeper & in that, Lindsey has become a friend. She listens to what you want ( and she listens to all the other stuff I say- lol) but she truly is the best. Her work - her art - her talent speaks for itself. I don’t write many reviews but she most certainly deserves one.
My stylist Colleen is fantastic. I have been going to Silver Scissors for almost 20 years. The staff is friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Woud recommend for cuts, color, perms. Be sure to make an appointment so ample time can be allotted for what you want.
Best salon on the island ? Dee is an expert who listens carefully to exactly what you want and creates your perfect style. On top of that, she and her staff are so welcoming and kind that you feel like you’re visiting family. I have never experienced a salon like this. If you go there, you will love it!!

New in town I stopped by the fade factory and was greeted with a smile by a gentleman named Jimmy. He sat me down asked me what kind of haircut. I wanted and proceeded to give me one of the best haircuts I've had in a long time not only was he courteous, professional, and gentle. Amy did my pedicure today. Was a little short on time so just did “regular” pedicure. But it was so so good! She was more thorough than any other pedicure i have had. She took her time and was meticulous. Great massage! Next time I will go to Amy and do fancy pedicure. Love it there.
On 7/02/2026, a friend suggested FASHION NAIL& SPA on Wantagh Avenue. We both walked in at 4pm w/o an appointment, the gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful and polite. The spa was packed, I'm guessing because it was two days before Independence day. There were about 25 customers seated and receiving manicures and pedicures and it was all running smooth. The place is very big, clean and has a ton of wonderful technicians working. Lucy was my technician and she was amazing! She repaired a toenail that I had recently injured and she caused me absolutely no pain, amazing. She did a fantastic job on my gel manicure & pedicure. I paid for a 20 minute chair massage, plus the massage that she provides after the mani & pedi. She has wonderfully strong hands and got rid of three big knots I had in my neck and I had no pain the following day. She knows how to massage, never touching the vertebrae which most do, which causes major pain the following day. I absolutely recommend Fashion Nail & Spa in Wantagh. If possible, make an appointment with Lucy as your technician she's totally worth it!!! The place is extremely clean, they use disposable plastic liners in the foot bath for each customer. The bathrooms were large and were spotless. The pedicure (massage) chairs are super comfortable, recline and have so many massage options for different areas of the back and neck. Again, go see Lucy at Fashion Nails and you will not be disappointed!

I've been patronizing Hands on Healing for years. I've gone to other places, and they never seemed to equal those healing hands.The prices of a massage is more or less standard,(unless you're at a resort) the difference is in the results. Owner/Operater Lori is "hands on" and certainly worth the coin.
I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Feel Well Spa in Wantagh. I had a deep tissue massage with Tom, and it was honestly the best massage I’ve ever had.
Tom is incredibly skilled and knew exactly how to work out years of tension without making the experience uncomfortable. He checked in throughout the session to make sure the pressure was right and focused on the areas that needed the most attention. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and moving better than I have in a long time.
