I was coming back from an ACL reconstruction and he was there when I was starting to run and jump and pivot. He made sure I was doing the things I should be doing AND, most importantly he made sure I was don things right. He spotted weakness and asymmetries in my body and gave me exercises to right them. Within weeks I was feeling stronger in the areas I had been neglecting. Mack is a great guy and I can’t thank him enough for the help he gave me.“

When I initially found David, I was hoping to find a trainer who was supportive, insightful and methodical. David is all of these things and I’ve made so much more progress working with him than with anyone else. It still surprises me how many goals David has helped me meet (like pull ups).
I think David is so effective as a trainer because he is impressively observant and excels at optimizing an effective workout strategy for each client while avoiding injuries. I also appreciate that David is very receptive to feedback (solicited or unsolicited) and goes out of his way to make improvements to his studio to best fit the needs of his clients. It’s clear how he genuinely cares about helping his clients.
I’ll stop before I inflate his ego too much but please give David a call and check out Strong by Lee! :)“

Being my first time doing CrossFit he was very informative and patient while working with me on form and precision while doing certain movements to ensure I do not hurt my lower back, which I have issues with. Highly recommend definitely worth the money.“

I'm not used to being "excited" to wake up and exercise, but Tracy is highly motivating and engaging and makes it fun! I've really loved my experience working with her.“

After several attempts to commit to getting back in shape, I finally walked into Live Fit in Old Tappan and John’s first words were simply, “Finally.” It felt like he had been waiting for me all along.
Starting again at 60+, out of shape, overweight, and dealing with everyday aches and pains wasn’t easy. But for the first time, I’m making time for myself and I’m so glad I did.
The vibe here is incredible a true old-school guys’ gym feel with great energy. Everyone is welcoming and supportive. John, Tony, and Lucas are fantastic, and we can’t forget Daisy, who adds her own charm to the place.
My early morning sessions are intense, full-body workouts that push me in the best way. I told John my goal was simple, I just want one ab muscle! Knowing him, I might end up with a full six-pack. He truly understands the body, incorporates great stretches, and somehow makes me walk out feeling years younger. A miracle worker.
Beyond the workout, it’s also an hour of great conversation, music, laughter, “name that tune,” and John’s legendary storytelling. Honestly, I hate when the session ends… but life goes on until the next one.
If you’re thinking about starting no matter your age or shape, just walk in. You won’t regret it.“
