“Every encounter that we have at Jericho animal hospital is top notch!!! Amazing facility and staff! Had an amazing issue with our elderly cat. She is skittish and the staff was phenomenal. Joanne at the front desk was lovely. Dr. Harris took the time to explain everything to me, in terms I understand! Danielle who assisted Dr. Harris was amazing and truly kept Shiloh at ease. The staff followed up the next day and when her bloodwork came in another doctor called to explain it to me and how it alters the treatment plan. We travel from East Northport, passing several other veterinarians on th way, but the level of care you receive is worth the trip! Would absolutely recommend!!“

“My primary vetinarian went out of business and Dr. K took over caring for my dog who has many health issues. He and his staff are great. The transition was flawless and all of my dog's health needs were met. Everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. K is very knowledgeable and explains things thoroughly. He does not push unnecessary procedures on you to make money. Dr. K is a great vetinarian and I would highly recommend him to anyone in the area.“

“Mid Island Animal Hospital is a Veterinary practice and hospital that goes above and beyond. I wanted to share this experience so others, who love their animals, would know about how wonderful the care is at Mid Island Animal Hospital. I have been taking my golden retriever puppy there since she was 12 weeks old. Recently, my 17 month old dog stopped eating and was just sleeping all day which was not like her at all. I thought maybe she had a stomach parasite or some other simple issue. We were taken that same day and seen by Dr. Stephanie Acevedo. Dr. Acevedo was extremely professional, knowledgeable, patient, kind, and compassionate. She understood we were in shock and upset with the test results and she took the time to explain everything several times. She never rushed us out or made us feel bad about asking so many questions. She was so knowledgeable and compassionate. She was just great with my dog. The dog required emergency surgery and Dr. Acevedo arranged everything with the surgeon so that the procedure went smoothly. She guided and helped us through this difficult and stressful time. Thank God that the surgery was a success and my girl will be just fine. Huge thank you to Dr. Acevedo for saving my girl. I must also add that the Vet techs and front office personnel are just amazing. They treat both pets and families with kindness and respect. From beginning to end, this practice takes care of and goes above and beyond for their patients. Your family is in good hands at Mid Island Animal Hospital. “Victoria, Riley and the entire team at Gold Coast is absolutely amazing!

My dog originally had hip dysplasia in both hips. I elected to have her get left FHO in April 2024 when she was still young. She goes to PT weekly Tuesdyas and Fridays ever since then. She also recently had right FHO about 2 weeks ago as well.

The entire surgery team and physical therapy team has been very amazing and supportive the entire way. Victoria and Riley both answer any questions I have and give recommendations as well as show me how to do all the at home exercises for my dog.

The nurses and front desk staff are amazing as well. Services can be somewhat pricey, but you pay for exceptional service. The place is wonderful and clean. I am happy to have this place as my vet office.“

Ensuring he has proper health care is important and all the people at Harborside are truly fantastic, from the receptionists to the tech supports to the vets themselves. We have been bringing Winston in to Harborside for nearly 3 years since we adopted him and every visit they treat him with the utmost care and concern. They routinely go above and beyond for not only his comfort, but for ours as parents as well.

Most recently this week we required some specialized health certificates for international travel & once again Harborside proved to be a great resource. Not only following up multiple times to get us the right answers, but also making systematic changes to ensure our paperwork met requirements for travel and safety.
