“I had a great experience at Alts Hoboken! I had several items that needed tailoring, more than just the basic hemming. I came here after getting a recommendation from a coworker. I believe the tailor’s name was Jimmy. Everything came out perfect. I also brought in a blazer that I thought was ruined after getting it tailored at another establishment. The tailor at Alts immediately knew what had been done incorrectly and explained how he would fix it. It now looks perfect!“

“I fell in love with a dress that was too small, and purchased it anyway in the hopes that someone would be able to fix it for me to wear at my babyshower that was a week away. Not only was it a little long, but it would not zip AT ALL. I found Antonia and brought her my dress. I tried it on, and she explained that she would need to make a corset back. I trusted her expertise and she delivered the most beautiful corset back. She called me within a few days to try it on, and took the time to explain to me the proper way to put the dress on. Once I put it on, I was so relieved. She is a life saver!

Although tailoring can be kind of expensive, it’s truly worth the service you get. Jess also helped me do a private delivery service to accommodate for closing the shop early due to personal emergency at no additional cost to ensure I’d get the dress in time (which ended up being a few days early anyways!). “This is one or the best tailor in New Jersey. Finding a good tailor is extremely hard for me. Once my older tailor passed on, I was lost. I was going to him for 12 years. So I took a chance with this tailor and was not disappointed at all. The gentleman is extremely friendly and calm.
