My daughter purchased her prom dress from Ali express and it was way to big. She got a XS but the dress fitted like a large. She was so heartbroken but I told her not to worry and that I know a place that will make this dress work. Anne worked her magic and had to hand sew the dress to make sure she didn't mess with the elaborate beading of the dress. The end result was flawless and my daughter was so happy. Thanks Anne!!!!
a little bit of a hidden gem - easy to walk past, but worth finding. the shop itself has a really nice curation of clothes and an energy that feels like the real deal.
i’ve had two things done here: a long coat that needed serious work (took in the length, the shoulders, the silhouette - basically everything) and a pair of pants hemmed. both came out exactly how i envisioned. the coat in particular came back looking so much more expensive than when i brought it in - it’s genuinely one of my favorite pieces now and i get compliments on it regularly. the pant hem was quick, clean, and exactly where i wanted it. no adjustments needed.

I came to Lords of Tailoring to get a dress I bought used for a wedding. It was way too big and I wasn’t sure if there was much to do because of the darts on the side. But they found a creative solution and it fit me so perfectly! Great customer service, very kind people. I will definitely be back for all my tailoring needs!
