I have a very aggressive and large dog and they so kindly squeezed me in when he started limping. They were extremely patient with both me and my dog Sam. Dr. Kremmerman, Malik, Diana and the front desk staff (I’m so sorry I forgot your names!!!) were absolutely wonderful and made this process so much less stressful. I had been dreading coming in to get the help he needed because of his aggression. I’m so incredibly glad I came. Thank you guys so much from the bottom of my heart!!!

“I brought my cat Cannoli here to get groomed. She is a very high anxiety kitty and I haven’t had the best luck with previous groomers. It’s hard to find a groomer who is good with cats, not just dogs, so as you can imagine, I was worried about what the experience would be like here. Haley went above and beyond to make sure Cannoli felt comfortable enough to stay for her appointment. She let my partner stay there by her side while she got her nails trimmed just to test the waters, which I thought was very nice. Once she was done, she came back happy and groomed very nice! “I took my dog to a new groomer today and had a really positive experience from start to finish. The staff was welcoming, patient, and clearly cared about making dogs feel comfortable. One thing I especially appreciated was the open-concept setup — you can actually see all of the grooming stations, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I’ve been to places before where the grooming happens completely in the back, so the transparency here was a huge plus. Another thing that stood out was that they sent me pictures and videos throughout the grooming process, which I really appreciated. It was reassuring to see how comfortable and well cared for he was during the appointment.
When I picked Milo up, he looked fantastic — clean trim, soft coat, and trimmed nails. He also seemed relaxed and happy afterward, which says a lot because grooming appointments can sometimes be stressful.
Overall, I’m really impressed with the professionalism, cleanliness, transparency, communication, and quality of care. I’ll definitely be returning and already scheduled Milo’s next appointment!“

“5 stars all the way! This was our first time coming to Astoria Dog Wash. We got a small tour and we were off to washing our rescue foster dog from Waldo's Rescue. She was so terrified, but we strapped her in, and gave her a great doggy wash and dry! This place is great! Absolutely recommend. We definitely will be back! This place is genius!“

“- Excellent doctors (recommend Dr. Bassman), excellent techs, excellent front office staff, excellent management. No exceptions, which is rare.
- Facility is kept immaculate without feeling sterile.
- Very transparent pricing.
- Their “Fear Free” handling can really make a difference, especially for older or vulnerable cats that can actually get sicker from stress.
- Management and staff have always been responsive to even minor feedback.
- Handling of insurance is seamless. Never have to even think about it.

After 5+ years of having 3 cats at Heart of Chelsea (2 routine/healthy cats, one who went through an uncommon illness) we couldn’t be happier and have never been disappointed.

It’s a 25 minute trip for us, but easily worth it.

If you want to keep a healthy pet healthy, or have excellent, expert care for an aging or ill pet, I highly recommend Heart of Chelsea.

“Happy Cat Hotel is an incredible place. The staff members are all completely sweet and treated my cat like a member of the family! I was able to view my cat on the web cam and watch her as often as I could. The stay was less stressful on her and the attention they gave her made her feel like she never left home. “Had a very good visit with Dr bardari. My dog had some very vague symptoms and the dr came to a very likely diagnosis of low grade pancreatitis. She made him more comfortable with fluids and an anti nausea meds and he is back to himself.“
