“I can’t say enough wonderful things about Lex Pets! We have been going there since November 2024, and from the very first visit, I’ve been so impressed by how professional, warm, and kind the entire team is. They are incredibly gentle, patient, and caring with Gigi, especially because she is a senior dog and needs a little extra attention and compassion.
One of the things I appreciate most about Lex Pets is the transparency of their grooming environment. In the past, Gigi had a scary experience at another groomer where she was accidentally nicked near her eye, so finding a place where I truly feel comfortable leaving her has been extremely important to me. I love that Lex Pets does not have a hidden back room where you can’t see what is happening. Their grooming area is open, visible, and feels like a much safer and more trusting environment. Being able to see how they handle the dogs and how gentle they are gives me so much peace of mind.

“We’ve been taking our two soft-coated Wheaten terriers, Chewie and Checo, to Paws on Fifth for the last few years and they’ve been great. Wheatens need careful brushing and a proper hand finish, and the team always sends our boys home looking clean, tidy, and comfortable — not overdone.
They’re patient with the dogs, easy to schedule with, and clearly care about the animals, not just the cut. Convenient for us in the Pelham/Eastchester area, and we’ve been happy enough that we’re glad to recommend them.
