“Came recommended by a neighbor with a dog after my prior groomer shut down, my dog is only 11 months old. I noticed they specialize in “puppy cuts” which are cute but I personally don’t love them. I asked for a good summer cut and I got exactly what I asked for, he looked great and smelled great and despite the fact it is a small space with several groomers working at once and noisy, my boy was chill and calm as he could be when I picked him up. I had also requested teeth brushing and gland expression when I booked online and these were confirmed on arrival and stated that gland expression might not be needed, but when I returned she said yes his anal glands were full which I suspected because he was dragging his butt and giving off real bad gas, so yes it was needed. I recommend using their website to book your appointment and request additional services and that will keep your talk time brief when you arrive. I also like how they don’t have cages but instead an area inside that is fenced off from the rest of the space so your baby isn’t in a tiny cage for any length of time.“

“Honestly, this place is lovely. I have been to many vets over the years and I have never felt as safe as I do here. They do not shame- my cat is overweight and they remained focused on a plan, not on making me feel like a bad pet parent. Whats even crazier is that my cats do not fear the carrier. While they will cry in the car once they are in the vet office they are calm. They come home relaxed. I think about all the trauma my other cats had at previous vets and it honestly breaks my heart knowing this was an option the whole time. VCG are profoundly lovely and caring people.“

“We’ve been bringing our Toy Poodle here for years, and I can honestly say this place is amazing. It’s one of the very few groomers that truly understands what a traditional Poodle cut should look like…not a Doodle or Shih Tzu trim.

Before finding this salon, we tried nearly every groomer within a 10-mile radius. No matter where we went, we could never get the look we wanted unless we practically picked up the clippers ourselves! The groomers here consistently do an excellent job and always get it right.

Even though our dog is old and a little grumpy, she loves the staff and that says a lot. They’re professional, patient, kind, and their prices are very reasonable.

I have a very aggressive and large dog and they so kindly squeezed me in when he started limping. They were extremely patient with both me and my dog Sam. Dr. Kremmerman, Malik, Diana and the front desk staff (I’m so sorry I forgot your names!!!) were absolutely wonderful and made this process so much less stressful. I had been dreading coming in to get the help he needed because of his aggression. I’m so incredibly glad I came. Thank you guys so much from the bottom of my heart!!!

“We took our 6-month-old Goldendoodle to The Cut Above Pet Groomer today for a puppy cut, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! After a not-so-great first grooming elsewhere, we were a little nervous—but they completely exceeded our expectations.

“Was on time, texted upon arrival my dog can be slightly aggressive and I recommend a muzzle just to be safe, groomer had muzzles in case but made dog comfortable enough not to need it , whole process was under an hour and results were great also gave my baby girl a cute pink bib thingy“
