After the nightmare of the heavy rainstorm on July 18th (in the news) that flooded our basement in Queens with sewage 🤮 we concluded we urgently needed sewer line work (after multi year research and solutions.., having installed a check valve, 2 different sump pumps). On Friday, July 24th, we decided to pull the trigger because heavy storms and flooding were predicted for Tuesday, July 28th. I didn't think it was possible to pull permits with NYC DEP and complete this job in under 48 hours. Yet here I sit on July 28th with the entire job finished, watching the skies turn dark and ominous right now, but feeling ready.
I'll admit I was hesitant at first to go with Water Works because I couldn't find a ton of information and reviews online didnt go that far back compared to other companies. But after doing some digging/sleuthing, I saw he had over 200 NYC DEP permits under his belt, no BBB complaints and when he came to my house, he immediately stood out from every other contractor. While others demanded a service charge just to show up, John came out for free, and actually removed the manhole cover himself and inspected things in our basement pit himself. He explained everything thoroughly and patiently, down to what material he uses, educating us all the way. He also made himself available through texts and calls and answered the hundreds of questions we had.
He brought a partner to do the camera inspection, walking me through every single section of the pipe so I understood exactly what was wrong. (Camera inspections are expensive on their own, and many excavting/sewage companies did not do them, I was told many times to find my own inspector and that they only did the excavation).
John’s pricing was also very competitive, I had received 6 different estimates. We didnt have insurance through American Water Resources, which the city pushes, but after hearing all the nightmare stories people go through trying to file claims, I was so relieved to find an honest, direct contractor who offered a fair price out of pocket.
John's crew was hardworking, and insanely fast, knocking out the excavation and full pipe replacement in just two days before the rain hit.
Hope no one will need their service after todays storm but putting up this review now in case anyone gets impacted like we were last storm. I highly reccommend WWP, John and his team are dependable, competitively priced and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
Came here to get my suit pressed a day before my birthday event and Fabian was so accommodating. I explained to him my situation and the reason why I really needed my suit crisp and wrinkle free with only a day to do so and he went above and beyond and told me he’d take care of it himself and have it ready by the next afternoon. WOW, talk about customer service. Now, I’m not saying to go there with clothes a day before you want them, but if they can take care of a customer like me in need, I’m sure they’re the cleaners for you!!!

Pito the barber — extremely talented and knows his customers. Pito greets you like it's back in the '90s, by name. The shop has an awesome vibe, and Pito knows your style, all of it. I show up there from Queens, and that's like every three months, yet he still knows exactly what kind of haircut I want. Now that's what you call a good barber.

Service is good . Both Cutters are very qualified. Only gripe is it seems like everytime I go in there's a price hike . I usually get a skin fade on sides and neaten of the top - After all said and done w tip $30 - seriously . So if you can find cheaper do so .

Everyone working there was very nice and accommodating, i got my nose pierced by Harry and he was very kind and funny, he made sure i was comfortable with where the piercing was going to go and helped me calm my nerves down, He gave us a paper for aftercare and overall the whole experience was a 10/10 i would for sure go again

The best massage of my life she has strong hands. The facial hurt but used high quality products, it's rare esthetician remove my acne 100% without leaving dirt in my face and she didn't add on fees for taking the extra time to deal with my acne . Fixed my back pain and I look better. thank you!

I passed my road test and I can thank ABS driving school. I 100% recommend getting lessons here, I think this place is different from others because Jorge, the instructor really wants you to overall be a great driver and makes sure you feel comfortable behind the wheel. He’ll take you to different areas and each lesson you conquer something new. You can tell he genuinely cares, he taught me how to be more observant and cautious while driving . It’s a real learning experience, you can ask all the questions you want and by the time you finish your lessons you will definitely have the confidence and skills to pass your test and just drive. He also taught my brother 9 years ago and so I definitely trust this place, if i could recommend anywhere i would recommend this!
