After the nightmare of the heavy rainstorm on July 18th (in the news) that flooded our basement in Queens with sewage 🤮 we concluded we urgently needed sewer line work (after multi year research and solutions.., having installed a check valve, 2 different sump pumps). On Friday, July 24th, we decided to pull the trigger because heavy storms and flooding were predicted for Tuesday, July 28th. I didn't think it was possible to pull permits with NYC DEP and complete this job in under 48 hours. We had one of those disasters on our hands. The 125 year old waste line collapsed underground between our house and the sewer main. These guys were amazing. The extent and amount of work they did, the quality of the work they did, and the speed with which they did it -- all incredible. They really saved the day.
