Merrick Hot Yoga
“Merrick Hot Yoga is an amazing studio with some of the best instructors on Long Island and in general. So, 5 stars on that alone. However, that aside there has been a major uptick in cell phones and smart watches going off during classes. Cell phones have 0 place in the actual room of practice. Smart watches I understand but they must be silenced. There is little to no enforcement and it’s getting worse and worse. There’s also a lot of attendees lately that are not respecting or considering others. Loud conversations take place before class in the rooms and some go completely rogue during class and do their own thing while ignoring instruction. More and more people are leaving during class and re-entering as well. It’s very disappointing to see this studio trending in this direction etiquette wise. It’s disrespectful to the instructors and everyone who is there to genuinely practice. Would be great to see etiquette become a focus through instruction/education and enforcement.”
