Mark McAlpin came the same day we called about rotting wallboard in boiler room . He is professional, personable and extremely knowledgeable about basement repair. He also described himself as the worst salesman in the world. This is because he will not sell things you don’t need and is very careful to provide proper service with no hype. He thoroughly investigated our problems and even found an issue behind a wall that was unknown to us. He said we did not need a big job and is referring a workman to fix our problem. This is an amazing professional. Recommend him 1000 percent!

Dawn took the time to explain how to clean and maintain the system in detail and she spent so much time answering my questions. She gave me so many tips on how to style it as well. This was my first time ever wearing a system. I bought the system online off eBay. I called Dawn and was able to get an appointment the next day.
I have been trying for so long to save my biological hair from balding with everything under the sun OTC, prescription medications, peptides, experimental topicals, red light helmets, various expensive devices, microneedling etc spending thousands of dollars and after all that still fighting a losing battle. Told by multiple hair surgeons I don't qualify for hair transplant surgery because of my poor donor areas (probably due to a genetic condition, got a biopsy but it was inconclusive). I was actually feeling so down and helpless envying all the bald men with thick donor areas I see every day and how I'd kill to be able to trade places with them.
When I first got there Dawn said I could wait longer for my hair to grow and come back later because my hair was still so short with only 2 weeks of growth. She said she could also try her best but it might not look optimal. When it was all done I was really happy with the aesthetic results. I actually went to a monthly meeting a couple hours later with dozens of people who have seen me before and many people commented on how good my hair looked and the only person who was confused was a guy who saw me only a few days before. As a bonus I'm so happy to find out how the Indian hair in the system is much, much easier and enjoyable to style than I ever had with my original brittle East asian biological hair.
I have attached pictures of before and after. The first set is from July 18th and the second set is from August 5th when I got it installed. I initially chose this place because the prices were listed very transparently. Very happy with my hair system install and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about it thank you Dawn!
If I could give 10 stars I would, Katlyn is the most knowledgeable lash technician I have come by so far, my real eyelashes have remained very healthy. She shows me about proper care and how to make my lashes last. It is such a welcoming atmosphere and she is very personable. If you are looking for a reliable and clean spot to get lashes this is is definitely the place. She also offers waxing and has a cute section for shopping!I love my lashes and I get so many compliments on them all the time she is the best!!

While shopping around for a DJ to entertain our guests at our Wedding, a friend of mine recommended Sir Round Sound Entertainment. We had already done a lot of research of companies in the area and were not coming up with good options for our budget. One of my main goals for our guests in planning for the wedding was to have awesome food and awesome entertainment.
I called Sir Round Sound Entertainment and they gave us exactly what we were looking for and more! Gene was the DJ, he really did an great job with the music selection and getting all the guests out of their seats. Since we are an interracial couple we needed to make sure to include some Mexican favorites, Gene nailed it.
Everyone knows how stressful it is to plan a wedding with all the vendors and following up but Gene was on top of everything and was so patient with us when we were trying to decide what we wanted and how we wanted it. He gave us some really good suggestions that made sense and helped us feel at ease with his Can-Do attitude. It is obvious that Gene has a lot of experience Djing and is very organized. On the day of the Wedding many of the 125 guests were on the dance floor multiple times and even the older guests got up for a couple of dances. Gene was very professional and it's apparent he certainly knows what he's doing. Many of our guests were so impressed; we got a lot of compliments about the presentation and Gene's sense of humor while getting the party started. Even when there were delays in some parts of our wedding schedule, Gene was able to adjust, what seem like very easily and avoided us having to pay the photographer/videographer overtime fees. He actually helped out the wedding coordinator in some areas!
We decided to include lighting, and that really set the mood of the hall. We were amazed at how beautiful it all turned out. I absolutely loved the wall accent lighting and the cool lighting on the dance floor. I can't say enough good things about Sir Round Sound Entertainment, especially Gene; he really helped make our wedding an amazing experience for my Husband and I as well as for our guests. I highly recommend their services and I will certainly hire Sir Round Sound Entertainment again for our next party.

This is honestly my 1st review ever lol. Morgan cut my hair like 2 months ago and when I tell you my hair has grown so much after YEARS of trying to have decent hair. I cut my hair in high school and my hair never grew past my shoulders and also super thin. My hair is so thick and long now. I will forever get my haircut by her!! I went for the first time to Lulus yesterday 6/3/26 for a glaze and a cut with Christina. I had the best experience, Christina was ready for me when I arrived, there wasn't a wait time, she patiently listened to me and what I wanted. The cut and color was excellent, by far one of the best cuts I've ever had if not the best! As a curly hair girl this is very hard to find. At the end of the appt she said if there was anything I was not pleased with I could go back and get it fixed, which I thought it was impressive for her to say as now days hair salons do not own their mistakes and they give a hard time when a client is not pleased. I am so happy that I finally found my hair salon! ❤.. thank you Christina.

It was our pleasure to work with the team at Kuhn Construction on the remodel of our kitchen, building our scullery pantry, and refinishing the entire first story floors. The whole team was easy to communicate with, explained the work well, gave us lots of options and prepared us for the project. Specifically, our project manager John, who is not only very organized and detail-oriented, but provided key insights into the design and execution of the project that we otherwise would not have known, and advocated for us every step of the way.
The team at Kuhn and their subcontractors understood from the onset of the project that we would have a lot of unique asks and that we are very particular about the execution of the work. They embraced the challenges and carried them out exactly as we envisioned. The trades were all respectful and well-coordinated, keeping the work moving. There were never lulls in the timeline due the Kuhn team.
One of the best parts about this company is their ownership over the work. If there was an issue or complication in the project, they ensured it was resolved to our satisfaction without asking us to throw money at the problem. They were very transparent about costs and stayed very close to the original budget. Nothing was pursued without explicit conversations.
Construction, specifically renovations, can be scary considering the amount of unknowns. The Kuhn team was excellent to work with, and we did not worry at any point that our dream kitchen would not come out exactly as designed. The work speaks for itself. We are very satisfied customers.
Dr. Rosen seen my mother on a Wednesday by Friday morning 6am, my mother had emergency brain surgery. Without seeing Dr Rosen and him having the necessary skills to proper diagnose my mother. I don't want to think what may have happened. He was Compassionate, knowledgeable, and serious. He let me know exactly what he thought it was and what to do. This is my second haircut with Dina and both times I’ve walked away feeling like an entirely new woman. I have very thin, fine and flat hair and was always told by other salons that layers wouldn’t work. Nonetheless, I’ve given it a few tries and it never looked great.
Until I met Dina!!! She is undoubtedly an expert in her craft because my hair has NEVER looked fuller or better - and with a ton of layers to boot!! Whatever magic she pulls on my hair makes it look like a salon blowout every day for months after the haircut (the picture posted is a whole month after my first haircut, after rolling out of bed in the morning, and somehow it still looks like a blowout). My hair is so much more manageable and healthier already thanks to her talent and recommendations, seriously. I genuinely didn’t think it was possible for my hair to look this good and full of life. And everyone I’ve come across in the salon is welcoming and polite. I am so happy that Racine Salon was recommended to me.

I have been going to this location before these owners even owned the nail salon. I’ve been a loyal customer of Diamond Star Islip for at least 16 years! I am VERY happy w them and bypass a few salons on my drive to Diamond Star- Islip. I think I have done every available service at least once over the years. I also always pay for a 10 - 20 min massage after each nail service. NO COMPLAINTS.
