ACM Basement Waterproofing

121 Freeman Ave, Islip

Tue 8 AM - 7 PM

“Mark McAlpin came the same day we called about rotting wallboard in boiler room . He is professional, personable and extremely knowledgeable about basement repair. He also described himself as the worst salesman in the world. This is because he will not sell things you don’t need and is very careful to provide proper service with no hype. He thoroughly investigated our problems and even found an issue behind a wall that was unknown to us. He said we did not need a big job and is referring a workman to fix our problem. This is an amazing professional. Recommend him 1000 percent!”

Kuhn Construction

417 East Main Street Apt A, Islip

Tue 8AM - 5PM

“We worked with Kuhn for our recent (2026) kitchen remodel which included a bump-out and mud room addition. We would absolutely recommend Kuhn to anyone looking for quality work. From the start of the project to the end, the Kuhn team members were professional, organized and responsive. Every Kuhn employee and subcontractor provided superior service and work. We chose Kuhn in part because of their expertise - they have a team to support every step of the process including an architect, designer, and dedicated project manager. It was a huge benefit to have one person overseeing all of the subcontractors and town inspections. We found the Kuhn team very easy to work with, extremely professional and well organized. The project management software they use allowed us through the app to easily communicate with the team, share design ideas, view the work calendar, and track the progress through daily photos. Kuhn adhered to our agreed upon schedule and budget. Any changes to the schedule or budget were discussed with us ahead of time.”
