I went for the first time to Lulus yesterday 6/3/26 for a glaze and a cut with Christina. I had the best experience, Christina was ready for me when I arrived, there wasn't a wait time, she patiently listened to me and what I wanted. The cut and color was excellent, by far one of the best cuts I've ever had if not the best! As a curly hair girl this is very hard to find. At the end of the appt she said if there was anything I was not pleased with I could go back and get it fixed, which I thought it was impressive for her to say as now days hair salons do not own their mistakes and they give a hard time when a client is not pleased. This was my first time ever at Lulus hair studio in Islip I have not got my hair done in 7 months due to another hair salon ruining my hair entirely and i was scared. I decided to have a fresh start and try somehwere new. I've had one of the best experiences ever. The staff are so sweet and so amazing. One thing i didn't feel was being rushed out. They took their time on my hair and I couldn't be more happier. Christina did my full head of highlights and she will be my person everytime now. Marisa is amazing and has great energy. I called to make an appointment to get my haircut and l found out my hairdresser is no longer working there, so now l am using Amelia she is fantastic and did a great job with my color and cut l highly recommend her your next visit to the salon ask for her she does the best blow outs too.
