This was about the 4th or 5th time that I have used Charlie’s and they are my go to company. I called on Wednesday to make an appointment for an estimate, they came Thursday at 10:45am and gave me a price and by 11:30am the job was completed!!!!! And at a very reasonable price. Doesn’t get much better than this!!

I can not express in words how truly wonderful Melissa is. I have gone to many different massage therapist but Melissa is by far the best out there in my opinion. She really took the time to listen to me and ask all the questions about what was bothering me. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. She is highly professional yet compassionate and kind as well. Her office space is beautifully decorated and clean…. And she even has little snacks to offer you after your session!!!! You MUST give her a shot! Just wonderful!

Rachel is amazing at hair cutting and styling. She has been my stylist for many years and I would never think of going to anyone else. I've had some bad experiences trying other hairdressers in a pinch and would never do it again. The colorist at the salon is amazing and did a correction color on my granddaughter that we thought could never be fixed after another colorist made her look like a skunk.
All in all I highly recommend this salon.

Colleen is a wonderful and kind hair stylist who also clearly takes pride in her work; she won't let you leave without you looking your best. She's a great conversationalist too!
Requested style: I asked for a scissor cut on top with a 2 on the sides and Colleen delivered precisely what I asked for.

I went with my 2 year old and 9 month sons and had Kieron as our Barber. Hands down awesome ! Amazing with my boys and their haircuts came out so good! People are friendly and place is very clean not to mention the place was very busy which is always a good sign. Will definitely be going to Kieron for now on ! Highly recommend!

I’m getting my hair cut by Tony since 1992. Even though I’ve moved to South NJ whenever I visit to see my doctors on Long Island I come to Tony to get my haircut. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TONY & HIS DAUGHTER for hair cut.
Met Diana at her old location in islip-When she moved down the block, it just made sense to follow. I've had cuts from everyone there, they're all very friendly people and give a solid cut; definitely give them a try!

I have always gone to random salons and never satisfied. The technicians at other salons often come off as annoyed when requesting certain things. Not this place- super warm atmosphere and my nails look great. Powder actually looks natural. Thanks! I’ll be back for sure! Prices are comparable to other places in the area.

I've read the negative reviews about Grace Happy Nail, but I've personally never had a bad experience there. My nails always turn out beautifully, and Nina and Johnny are such kind, welcoming people. Yes, they speak their native language, but I'm not insecure enough to assume they're talking about me—honestly, that would make for a very dull conversation since they'd have nothing bad to say! Johnny is a great guy, and his wife, Nina, is just as lovely. I highly recommend this salon!

I cannot thank Sue, Kirsten, and then entire Beauty Mark Team for creating the most perfect hair and makeup glam for my wedding (June 28, 2025). My family and bridesmaid looked AMAZING as well. We all felt so comfortable and had the best experience. Sue and Kirsten stayed for several hours at the venue to not only provide my touch-ups, but for my bridal party as well. I can’t wait to work with them again in the future :)

I’ve been coming here for a little over 4 years now and honestly I don’t think I could ever switch nail salons. I usually go to Camilla now, but I’ve been to plenty of the other nail techs too and every single time I’ve left happy with my nails. I even got my mom and sister to start coming here about a year ago and now they’re just as obsessed as I am lol. Everyone is always super nice and the vibe is always good. I’ll always recommend this place to friends and family. it’s seriously such a great salon and my go-to spot!

Gregg is awesome! He explains everything before he does it. I got a helix piercing. So quick and smooth pain was minimal. (Everyone's pain tolerance is different though). The shop is beautiful and clean. Everyone who was there, tattoo artists and those getting tattooed, were cool as well. Gregg loves to chat! And he'll answer any questions you have without making you feel like an idiot. Going back for tattoos next!
Called Sean for a boiler issue couldn’t be a nicer guy and a great plumber. Responded very quickly to my problem and took care of business. I highly recommend him.
Ray the plumber company very professional. Had Alex as the tech and he was very nice and did a good job. Courteous. Quick. And didn't over charge like a lot of plumbing companies do. Would definitely recommend.
James and the whole team were great to work with. Communication was stellar, which can be hard to come by. The quote for the work was on the medium-high end, but in the end it was justified by the quality of work and level of communication. I did not have to babysit these guys. They were able to adapt to changes as needed without issue on short notice. Everyone was more than willing to discuss any questions I had and James was always available via text when I needed him.
