“You have no idea what they have done for me. I called and they took me at my preferred time. I initially said I want a full service for 2 dogs but I decided to take the third one. I was trying to figure out how I was going to take them to their facility, because I have difficulty walking. I called and I spoke to the owner and he said no problem. I will come and pick them up. I have a very aggressive and large dog and they so kindly squeezed me in when he started limping. They were extremely patient with both me and my dog Sam. Dr. Kremmerman, Malik, Diana and the front desk staff (I’m so sorry I forgot your names!!!) were absolutely wonderful and made this process so much less stressful. I had been dreading coming in to get the help he needed because of his aggression. I’m so incredibly glad I came. Thank you guys so much from the bottom of my heart!!!

“My cat, Zephyr, and I are grateful beyond words!!!!! I recently moved back to NY and didn't have a regular vet setup yet when my cat required emergency dental extractions. Every other vet I called (I called many!) required multiple, costly pre-procedure visits before they would do any dental procedures. My cat was in pain with an active infection in his mouth and this was unacceptable!! Not only was Crawford Animal Hospital the most affordable, but I was able to walk in without an appointment and have his procedure done on the same day!! Dr. Josh was incredibly compassionate towards my cat's needs and my financial situation, and the staff were all so professional, friendly, and clearly love animals. The procedure itself went well and I was able to take my cat home on the same day. He recovered quickly that evening and was 100% by the following morning. I waited a couple of days to post this review in case of any adverse reactions, but I'm happy to report that were none!! Thank you so much Dr. Josh and team for your excellent veterinary care!!!“

“Honestly, this place is lovely. I have been to many vets over the years and I have never felt as safe as I do here. They do not shame- my cat is overweight and they remained focused on a plan, not on making me feel like a bad pet parent. Whats even crazier is that my cats do not fear the carrier. While they will cry in the car once they are in the vet office they are calm. They come home relaxed. I think about all the trauma my other cats had at previous vets and it honestly breaks my heart knowing this was an option the whole time. VCG are profoundly lovely and caring people.“

“I took my dog to a new groomer today and had a really positive experience from start to finish. The staff was welcoming, patient, and clearly cared about making dogs feel comfortable. One thing I especially appreciated was the open-concept setup — you can actually see all of the grooming stations, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I’ve been to places before where the grooming happens completely in the back, so the transparency here was a huge plus. Another thing that stood out was that they sent me pictures and videos throughout the grooming process, which I really appreciated. It was reassuring to see how comfortable and well cared for he was during the appointment.
When I picked Milo up, he looked fantastic — clean trim, soft coat, and trimmed nails. He also seemed relaxed and happy afterward, which says a lot because grooming appointments can sometimes be stressful.
Overall, I’m really impressed with the professionalism, cleanliness, transparency, communication, and quality of care. I’ll definitely be returning and already scheduled Milo’s next appointment!“

- Facility is kept immaculate without feeling sterile.
- Very transparent pricing.
- Their “Fear Free” handling can really make a difference, especially for older or vulnerable cats that can actually get sicker from stress.
- Management and staff have always been responsive to even minor feedback.
- Handling of insurance is seamless. Never have to even think about it.

After 5+ years of having 3 cats at Heart of Chelsea (2 routine/healthy cats, one who went through an uncommon illness) we couldn’t be happier and have never been disappointed.

It’s a 25 minute trip for us, but easily worth it.

If you want to keep a healthy pet healthy, or have excellent, expert care for an aging or ill pet, I highly recommend Heart of Chelsea.
