“Can't say enough positive things about the great job Demetrio did fixing and saving our old broken door lock system: he was friendly and curtious; he came when he said he would come; it was raining and he put down a dropcloth for the floor; he completely took apart the mechanism of the old deadbolt and push-button systems and put them back together again so that they worked properly again! In this vintage 125-year-old house, we were afraid we would have to replace the original locks and put in a more modern system, but Demetrio saved the old locks and got them working again. We are extremely grateful. He did an excellent job - we would highly recommend.“

“We were locked in and ABCO came to our rescue. So for 40 to 50 years I have had the same lock on my door: a good quality Medeco that had a key on the inside. Recently it had become hard to turn the key and I kept telling my husband it was time to buy a new one. We put it off but finally the key broke in the lock and we couldn't open it. The very reason that kind of lock is now illegal. If something goes wrong, you can get stuck inside. So I called ABCO the next morning and the guy came with an assortment of locks at various price points that would fit on our apartment door. I picked a new Medeco and within the hour we had a new lock. He came on time and was very nice and we felt comfortable with him. He even fixed our second lock that was loose at no charge. He evaluated our door for safety. The new lock is so nice and shiny. I'm sorry we took so long but am happy it is done now and it is nice knowing we have such a reliable company right in the neighborhood. If we had used them in the first place, they would have installed a safer lock than the one we had that was installed by a handyman. You live and learn.“
