225 Main St, Nyack“Travis Monuments have been so good to my family. Our experience with them was as early as 2011 and more recently in 2025. The care and attention they put in the carving and calligraphy as well as helping us decide on the type of stone really has touched our hearts. The calligraphy was not easy--yet they made it happen. There is grace in this. My father's and my mother's monuments are so beautiful.Simple, full of grace. Both are exquisite. Looking at these brought us so much solace.
With gratitude, Maniza Naqvi“

5628 Broadway, Bronx“Losing our father was one of the hardest experiences our family has ever faced. In the midst of the confusion, sadness, and overwhelming decisions that come with planning a service, Williams Funeral Home became our anchor. From the very first phone call, we felt not only cared for but genuinely seen as people navigating deep grief.
Two individuals in particular, Anthony and Skyler, went far beyond what anyone could have expected. Their compassion, patience, and professionalism turned what could have been a painful, stressful process into one that honored our father’s memory in the most meaningful way possible. From helping us understand every option to taking time to learn who our father was, they treated our family like their own.
Anthony guided us through each step with such gentleness and understanding. He made sure every question was answered, every detail double checked, and every concern addressed, never once making us feel rushed or like a burden. His empathy and attention to detail gave us a sense of peace we didn’t think was possible during such a difficult time.
Skyler was equally extraordinary. He took the time to arrange every aspect of the service exactly how we envisioned it, even going out of his way to accommodate special requests that reflected our father’s personality and spirit. His calm demeanor and steady reassurance made us feel supported throughout the entire process. It was clear he wasn’t just doing a job, he truly cared about helping us celebrate a life well lived.
What touched us most was the genuine kindness and personal attention from everyone at Williams Funeral Home. They never treated us like clients; they treated us like family. They went to great lengths, both emotionally and practically to make sure we were comfortable, informed, and surrounded by care at every turn. Whether it was helping us choose the right arrangements, coordinating with the funeral home, or simply checking in to see how we were coping, Anthony and Skyler were there without hesitation.
Williams funeral home itself is warm and welcoming, but it’s the people who make Williams Funeral Home so special. Every conversation felt compassionate and sincere, every detail thoughtfully handled. The entire team seemed to understand that grief is personal and that honoring someone’s life is sacred. They carried that understanding through every interaction, big or small.
In a time when everything felt uncertain and painful, Williams Funeral Home and especially Anthony and Skyler provided a sense of comfort, dignity, and peace that we will never forget. Their dedication, compassion, and professionalism went far beyond our expectations, and we will always be deeply grateful for the care they showed our family.
If you ever find yourself in the heartbreaking position of needing funeral services, I can say with complete confidence that Williams Funeral Home is a place of true compassion and integrity. They helped us honor our father beautifully, and for that, we are forever thankful.
Sleep easy Dad, (Horace Pace) It’s not good bye it’s see you later.
Sincerely,
The family of Horace Pace“

90 N Broadway, Tarrytown“The heartfelt service unique to a family-run business and the willingness to accommodate any request from the bereaved family were truly wonderful. The progression, background music, altar setup, personal makeup, and the Buddhist monk’s service—all were carried out just as we envisioned for the funeral and burial. I believe my late wife would have been pleased as well. Thank you very much.“

575 Columbus Ave, Thornwood“The owners, Patrick McNulty Sr. and his son Patrick Jr., are the most professional and compassionate people I have ever dealt with. What truly stands out is their extraordinary ability to make one of the most difficult experiences in life — laying a loved one to rest — feel possible, handled with such ease, grace, and genuine care. Patrick Jr. who is the funeral director is someone you can truly trust. From the very beginning, he reassured me that he would be there every step of the way, and he absolutely was. The wake and mass at the chapel were absolutely beautiful. They also arranged a live stream and recording so that our family in Colombia could feel like they were part of this special day — something that meant the world to us. I will always be grateful to Patrick Jr. for the kindness, patience, and dignity they brought to such a painful time. They are a true blessing to every family they serve.“

120 Paris Ave, Northvale“I will forever be grateful to Mike and Pam Pizzi… and everyone at Pizzi funeral home. They were a true blessing and godsend when my father died. I had nobody to help me in my family to organize any funeral arrangements, etc, I didn’t know what to do. But the moment I called and spoke to Mike… I felt like my prayers had been answered and I had someone to walk me through the steps one by one… during the most difficult and traumatic experiences of my life.
They went above and beyond. I will never forget all they did… and I know my father won’t either.“

160 Fisher Ave, White Plains“I would absolutely ditto what reviewer Marie Raghnal wrote about Lee’s Funeral Home.
My husband and I set up a Funeral Trust for my father-in -law several months ago with Lee’s with the full understanding we could use any other funeral home once needed. Once we needed this service we knew right away we would use Lee’s because of our 1st visit. Jennifer was very kind, patient and attentive during this process. The service for my father-in-law was beautiful and stress free bc of Jennifer and her support staff . We are truly grateful and we highly recommend Lee’s Funeral Home.“

168 Park Ave, Yonkers“Mr. Michael and the entire team at Whalen & Ball have been beyond helpful, comforting and accommodating to me and my family during the worst period of our lives. They made arrangements for us to see our loved one the day before, made beautiful prayer cards for distribution and even provided support and security throughout our events. Whatever extras you may need be it doves or a headstone they have contacts to deliver in a timely manner with empathy and poise. I am grateful for the immense amount of support, love and attentiveness Mr. Michael showed our family. He is someone you would want handling your loved one if the unfortunate reality comes knocking on your door. This is our second time working with him and I hope not to work with him any time soon but if needed he will absolutely be our 1st choice. Thank you Whalen & Ball for taking care of us. If you are reading this and debating where to take your loved one look no further call them now. They will treat you with love and respect.“

6110 Riverdale Ave, Bronx“During one of the most difficult moments of my life, Riverdale in Hudson provided comfort, compassion, and care beyond words. Anne and Laura were a true blessing. My cousin and I went to help dress my mom in a sari, and they treated her with the utmost respect and dignity. Every detail was handled so gently and thoughtfully — my mom looked just like herself, radiant and beautiful, exactly as I will always remember her.
Special note for Indian families: it is rare to find a funeral home willing to go the extra mile to honor cultural traditions. We dressed my mom together, but on the day, her sari pleats were impeccable — a small detail, yet one that would have meant so much to her. That care and respect for tradition touched my heart deeply.
In such a tender and heartbreaking time, Anne, Laura, and the entire Riverdale team gave me the gift of peace of mind. Their kindness made one of the hardest days a little lighter and turned it into a meaningful, memorable farewell. I will always be grateful.“
