Very supportive Disciplined Make new friends Great for exercise and Self defense

Since I’ve started attending TOK back in March of this year, I’ve noticed five major improvements in my daily life: 1. Training has helped me de-stress (a 40-hour work week is a lot less stressful and worrisome). 2. I’m significantly more active (apart from being active, I’m also learning to defend myself and loved ones). 3. I’m in a better mood. 4. Better night sleep (physical training tires my body enough such that it becomes easier to fall asleep, even when thoughts race through my mind). 5. I’m more optimistic (training has toughened me up – both physically and mentally). Aside from these awesome benefits, the atmosphere and personality of this dojo is remarkable! Mr. Donovan, the head instructor, has an excellent support team --- each day of classes is led by a different & experienced instructor. The dojo is impressively community friendly and organizes ongoing events that are fun and informative. The dojo is superb in working with children and maintains good rapport with parents. Moreover, and importantly, this school embodies the spirit of Isshin-ryū, which is its primary style, and pays utmost respect to Tatsuo Shimabuku. Everything about this place is to love!

This karate school is awesome. Mr. Donovan and his teachers make sure that both adults and children are having fun. While at the same time learning some self defense techniques.
