“I went to Square Circle for a few years. I came in with absolutely no idea on how to kickbox let alone Muay Thai kickboxing. Not only did I learn kickboxing but I learned Brazilian Jujitsu as well. The instructors in both Kickboxing and BJJ are experienced fighters who professionally have completed in professional tournaments. I have made friends that I still talk to and have stayed in contact with. The school itself is well kept with the equipment and floor being sprayed and sanitized after each class. Cleanliness at a gym is utmost important and, in this facility, you will find it to be very well kept. The atmosphere during class is high energy and friendly. The instructors do an excellent job in welcoming new people and are attentive to their skill level. There is this tight bond that everyone has with each other before, during and after class. Whether you are an experienced kickboxer or have experience with BJJ or you want to learn either one I would highly recommend this school. Its friendly, knowledgeable, clean, the instructors are well experienced and the people who come to train are very diverse they come from all walks of life.“

“If you’re looking for something more than just discipline this is the dojo to go to. Ever since I joined this dojo life has been different around me. And mostly it has been for the good I highly recommend this dojo for anybody that’s looking on doing karate, of course by that I mean Traditional Karate. Best dojo in the heights!“

“The tai chi classes with Mike, the instructor, have been a joy ever since I started in September. Mike is patient and always considers the students' needs, regardless of age and ability. With more than 20 years of experience, Mike explains many aspects of tai chi, from meditation to health to self-defense, in a way that guides and reinforces the students to grow more confident with every step. I had wanted to study tai chi for a long time because I thought it was a beautiful and healthy exercise, but I was afraid I wouldn't be able to do it. Now I never want to stop taking these classes!“

“One of the best decisions in my entire career was coming to this academy. Not only do you meet people from every walk of life, but the level of detail and overall history here is hard to match. Was training at Renzo's for a little over two years. Under their Muay Thai Program, under coach Mark and Mateo. Not only is this gym highly credentialed in BJJ, but equally as talented when teaching Muay Thai.“

“Crystal and Phil are so approachable. They don't try to hurry you up when it comes to conversing or learning the skill. They don't try to shut your questions down either, they actually answer all your questions patiently - no matter how long it takes. They'll take time out to make sure you get all your questions answered.Right now they train at the park, and I would consider the training better than every Muay Thai gym that I've been to in New York city.“
