“STR – Southern Tier Residential – the work and workers are phenomenal. About 5 years ago I listed my house for sale, with no offers. Recurring feedback was they liked the house, but the floors are sloped or the floors are slanted, or tilted. I took the house off the market and did some cosmetic repairs but over the next few years the floors continued to drop dramatically. I started my search to get the sinking floors corrected. I made many calls and a few people came out to take a look. No one wanted to go in the crawl space or take on the work. I was striking out trying to find any help. Then I found the website for Southern Tier Residential strstructuralsolutions.com. Looking over the site, this sounded like the type of work I thought I needed. I called and made an appointment for Lenny to come out, investigate and provide an estimate. Right from the start I knew this was a knowledgeable and trustworthy person. “Mubark was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was professional, responsive, punctual, and even worked on the weekends when he was able to. Our house was built in the 40's, so Mubark encountered many instances where walls were not plumb/straight. His ability to improvise and make trim/crown moulding look seamless was very impressive. “Experience began at estimate. Appreciate the intent to do the work right, dig on exterior, use large drainage PVC and provide legitimate customer testimonials (old school sale). Locktight crew was very polite and easy to be around. I had a large amount of supplies in my basement and they were helpful in moving items to center so to access basement perimeter tile. There was some phone tag in order to set a date for work to begin. I’d recommend some form of SMS or digital (email) communication to coordinate this (list of things to do to prep). Didn’t appreciate the hassle and lack-of patience from Locktight to receive payment (check due at estimate decision, work start and work finish). All things considered they finished ahead of schedule.
