“This is the clinic of my Nurse Practitioner, Dr Sonya Marcott. The staff here are all kind, professional, and efficient.

My worst experience in over three years was a miscommunication, which led to an hour delay and, frankly, if I'd spoken up a second time sooner, the wait would've much shorter. Plus, everyone was extremely sorry when we discovered the issue and they took care of everything for me immediately.

Dr Marcott's students love her and request additional placements with her, which speaks volumes to me of her diligence as a mentor and doctor.

I also often do my blood collection here. The nurses and phlebotomists are great. Again, efficient, pleasant, and make the process relatively pain-free.

I feel many Canadians have (legitimate) complaints about our health care, but I cannot speak highly enough of the care I receive at this clinic, or at the recommendations of this clinic.“

“I recently had the opportunity to visit and I was thoroughly impressed with the service provided. From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at ease. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the waiting time was minimal.

I did encounter some difficulties when filling out the questionnaire form, but the staff were exceptionally helpful. They guided me through the process with patience and kindness, ensuring that everything was completed correctly.

The nurses and technicians were professional and compassionate, explaining each step of the donation process clearly. They ensured that I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. The facilities were clean and well-organized, which further added to my confidence in the center's hygiene standards.

I also appreciated the post-donation care. They provided refreshments and a comfortable area to relax in before leaving. The follow-up communication was prompt, and I felt valued as a donor.

She has been able to advise me of tests I need and also put my mind at ease for some other minor ailments. After a difficult week of visiting the ER, calling multiple walk-in clinics, and being abruptly dismissed from Maple/NS virtual care three times without even speaking to a doctor, I was feeling utterly defeated. “My elderly mother is a new patient to this clinic (Ravines Bedford). I have been accompanying her to most of her appointments with her new doctor, Dr. Joel Muresan. He is absolutely wonderful! Like most Nova Scotians, we have been subject to less than stellar medical care over the years. Dr. Muresan has listened to my mother explain her health issues, is taking the steps to arrive at a diagnosis and treatment plan. He is kind and efficient, and genuinely seems to enjoy being a doctor. This is so refreshing! We cannot say enough good about him. I hope this is a sign that our healthcare issues in Nova Scotia are improving. In addition, we have been able to make an appointment in a reasonable length of time, the waiting room has not been crowded, and the wait time to see the doctor hasn’t gone more than just a few minutes over the appointment time. I notice are a lot of negative Google reviews about the reception staff from a few years ago. We have not had any issues. Perhaps these are newer employees, or perhaps attitudes have changed. 5 stars, and fingers crossed that going forward, all doctors and clinics are like this one.“
