“I’ve been bringing my pets for some time now. I love Dr. Donna and Mark. They’re so kind and helpful. I love how small and homey it feels. I can tell Dr. Donna loves animals and really cares about her patients. My babies have allergies and other issues and I’m always using their App to communicate and order. I love it because it’s so easy and she gets back to me right away, hours has changed since Covid but they do a lot to accommodate everyone and to me I truly appreciate their time and help.“
“The place is absolutely beautifully kept - clean & new are always good factors.The techs - not just admins but are so very helpful to the patients as well as the dr.The dr. - needs a better bed-side manner. Words like “If she continues to go downhill…..” or “Her eyes look like a mess…..”, weren’t making me feel very comfortable - I felt like for a vet - he wasn’t very “pet friendly” - almost “cold” towards the pets. The cost: slightly high - but my reg vet would have been higher -My pet is doing better - so the problems seems to be resolved. ?I will be returning as I no longer plan on going to the vet we’ve been with for the last 15 years.This clinic is perfect for my 2 little ones.They definitely need more advertising & marketing - I found them through a gas station attendant -and they are literally next door to me.“

“We like the Clinic overall and in particular the veterinarian. He is knowledgeable yet practical. Many vets push textbook diagnosis and treatment plans as well as treat medication like a standalone profit center. He considered the condition, age and history of our older dog and gave us some practical advice. However, the office operations need some work. They appear to overbook leaving pets and owners sitting in the parking lot for excessive amounts of time. This can cause already present anxiety and discomfort with the pet. They also could improve "triage" to appointments. A pet getting a simple vaccination shouldn't be stuck in a queue with more complicated cases. But, again, we would recommend to others. Just be prepared for delays.“
“I take my dog here for 2nd year now for check up and vaccination...as my neighbor referred him. Place is looking old and dingy but he seems to be good and has reasonable prices. I'm not sure about surgical equipment or boarding .....?“
“The vet is very knowledgeable and attentive. He spends time with you answering all your questions, and he doesn't make you feel rushed. Also, he doesn't try to suggest things that aren't needed. And calls after hours to check up and see how your pet is doing. Hard to find a vet that genuinely cares about animals the way he does. Highly recommend this place.PS, aside from seeing dogs and cats, he is also very experienced with rabbits.“

“Somerset Vet Dr. Oratio and tech Ashley are superb. They get down on the floor to play with my pup each visit and every question I have is answered thoughtfully and patiently. There is no “rushed” feeling – I feel like my pup and myself are really heard and cared for. Not only is the medical staff amazing, but too are the front desk personnel – Susan, Lauren and Laura. When I come for an appointment they remember that my pup can only have hypoallergenic treats and welcome her with warm voices and “happy to see you” demeanors. They too have gone the extra mile for me when Chewy messed up my monthly prescription food order. Laura patiently recalled Chewy and sat by the fax waiting for their response since she knew I was getting low on the needed dog food. The food arrived the next day! Thank you all of Somerset Vet for caring for my pup and me over all these years!“
“I cannot say enough about this staff. We went in because our dogs eyes were extremely red for a few days and we thought it was more serious than allergies. It turns out our dog had a very serious condition that required immediate emergency surgery. Our vet diagnosed the issued within minutes, thoroughly explained it to us and called hospitals herself until she got us a surgery same day (on a holiday weekend no less) and even got us a quote so that we knew what to expect financially. The advice of Dr. Abby Oratio and her technician Christine saved my dogs life, and I could not be more grateful for their rapid response to this situation.“
