I initially reached out for training for our new rescue girly who needed leash work and reactivity training. Eventually, our mini labradoodle became part of the crew to tighten up his previous training and work on impulse control. Anne explains, models and then has me implement the strategy. She is available to talk through any issues that arise and I truly feel supported by her and the team.

In addition, she led a private session for my 3 year old toddler and the dogs so that he can begin to understand how to better interact with them. My dogs quite literally cry from happiness when we turn on the street for Day Train and leave exhausted and full-filled. Thank you Anne and the Good Dog team! You rock!“

“Ramapo Valley Animal Hospital has been such a comfort to our family during a very difficult time. Our dog fought IMHA for three weeks, and throughout that battle Dr. Katara(especially) and the entire staff were consistently kind, patient, and compassionate.

They took the time to explain what was happening and what each step meant in a way we could actually understand. Even when the situation was heartbreaking, they treated our dog with so much care and dignity, and they treated us with empathy and respect as we tried to make the best decisions we could. Saying goodbye on January 5 was devastating, but the compassion and warmth we were shown made an unbearable day a little more manageable. “Pat has been an amazing mentor as we navigated the adolescence stage with our mini Dachshund as first time dog parents. He is honest, professional, knowledgeable, and humorous which we appreciated greatly. We attended all of the group puppy classes at larger pet stores and did not see the behavior changes we were looking for until we started sessions with Pat. We loved that he allowed us to bring in other family members who also spend a lot of time with our dog so they could be trained on how to appropriately handle him too. He is kind and gives you choices through his recommendations of how to help your pet. Dr. E called back several times the days following our visit to check on chirpy and her progress.
