I called Pat to help me with my 2 Labs that are just under 2 years old. I have gone to group classes, but was still having issues where they would get to excited and jump on family and guests when they would visit. Just after my first session with Pat, I noticed signifcant improvements. He helps to train owners on how to be better leaders and also understand how a dog's brain really works. The approaches I learned at the group classes on correcting my pups was only getting them more excited - Pat is teaching me how to keep my pups calm and properly reward them. Looking forward to continue working with Pat and highly recommend him - he is the real deal!

Pat is fantastic. He gives you the tools you need to make yourself a better dog owner. He is encouraging and celebrates the victories. Please be mindful that how well you are trained to be a dog parent depends on you! There is no timeline, no magic cure, no fairy wand, it’s ALL on you. Take the tools you are given and work work work with them. This process will take months. Patience and faith are the key.

Pat’s approach to dog rehabilitation focuses primarily on the dog owners. Why? Dogs feed off of the owners energy (emotional state) as their primary method of understanding, respecting and trusting humans. If a dog senses any kind of emotional instability (such as nervousness, anxiety, frustration, anger, etc.), they will assume that you are weak and not in control of the situation. Therefore, the dog will not trust or follow you and will assert itself to become the pack leader.
