“Just had our first visit and I am blown away!!! My 70-lb bully mix, Ferdinand, absolutely hates vet visits and this is the only office that made him feel comfortable enough to even be touched. Dr. East & Jessica were incredibly kind and understanding, even when Ferdie started to act out which I felt so bad about. He didn't need a muzzle during the exam which was shocking because we've tried 4 other vets in the city this year alone, and none of them were able to lay a single finger on him. Dr. East & Jessica sat on the floor with Ferdie and were super reassuring with him the entire time. Even when he started to snap at them, they were so calm and patient as opposed to all the other vets we've tried who got offended and refused to try comforting him. You can tell they truly love animals and had my dog's best interests in mind. The ladies at the front desk were also so lovely. Would highly recommend to anyone on the search for a new vet, especially if you have an anxious baby like mine. I am so grateful I found this office - finally one that I trust and plan to go back to. “In July we went for our vacation to Canada and America, while visiting NYC with our dog we were looking for daycare. City Tails NYC responded quick on our request by email.
Our labradoodle Mick was very welcome so we had our hands free to explore the city that never sleeps. Mick had two great days and the staff took very good care of him, we are thankful.

“The TBM team are true professionals. We've used them for walks and boarding for over 4 years now for our goldendoodle Pluto. They are reliable and trustworthy - they have never missed a walk and communicate well. Safety is a top priority - in how they train the team, the leashes, the size limits on walks - this was super important to me. They're a small close-knit team and seem to have strong retention - we've continuously worked with the same small set if walkers. We're super happy with TBM and feel fortunate to have found them - we highly recommend TBM!“

“I have a diabetic senior dog who is on a very regimented schedule for feeding and insulin. For the past 5 months, I've had to hand-feed her meals 3x a day to ensure she could receive her insulin doses. This process became unattainable and very stressful, so I reached out to Frank at Behavior Plus for advice. He offered an assortment of suggestions - adding specific products to her meals to entice her, removing metal bowls from her feeding, adding in a treat/reward approach during feeding times, etc. He also suggested her actions may be related to behavior issues and associating the kibble with pain. We made the changes Frank offered and now our dog is eating on her own for the first time in months! Big thanks to Frank and his team at BPDT - their compassion for pets (and their human parents) are like no other. I am forever grateful for his time and expertise in getting my dog back to her normal self.“

“As a professional certified trainer and AKC Evaluator, I see many dog handlers and professional walkers. Most of them I almost can't watch as they pay no attention to their pack. These ladies are proper handlers, love dogs and are super conscientious. The only reason I would consider offering board and train is because I will trust these ladies to properly keep the dogs while they are in a board & train two-week protocol. I know that not only are they seasoned dog people, but they love what they do!“

For folks like us where kids are not an option, it’s really a gift to have her keen insight and direct communication approach. We brought her in to work with the family dynamics of our resident dog (whom she also worked with 10 years ago) and our new puppy. Her counsel was invaluable to gaining structure and discipline in the house.“
