Our plumber Stephen was excellent in all facets of the job. He called me back 15 minutes after the answering service took my call. He explained both the after-hours cost structure, and a likely time estimate related to that. He was candid, transparent, and wholly committed to making sure that I was informed before he put in the work order.

Stephen's communication style before and during the job was exemplary: he kept me appraised of his arrival time (we're in Princeton and he was coming from New Brunswick), and got all the details he needed from me to make sure he got the right tools at the shop.

The clog turned out to be a more involved job that originally thought, and it was only because Stephen brought the kind of tools (bigger, more powerful snake, etc.) that he thought he might need that he could fix the drain and disposal that night. His thoughtfulness and preparedness in getting the right gear was essential.

Stephen was a pro, and a super nice guy too. He explained the underlying issues behind the clog, and set up the system to work fine for the foreseeable future. My two young sons were *fascinated* by the evening's events and Stephen was really kind to answer their questions about his tools and how they worked.

“Our water heater broke and flooded the basement on early Sunday morning. Called them and Luciano was on emergency duty. He calmly walked me through what to do, and suggested a good local company for mitigating and drying up the flood (which should ideally be done asap to prevent mold), and scheduled a replacement for Monday. Later in Sunday afternoon, with the mitigation people already at work, the broken heater was leaking some more. It was time to call Luciano again and this time he offered to come and just replace the heater ---on a Sunday afternoon! He was so nice and helpful, and was willing to take hours off his Sunday to do so. Normally they don't do new installations on Sundays. Very pleased with Luciano's going above and beyond, and being so helpful.“
