Vain makes me feel like I'm in a salon in Soho without all the NYC congestion. The girls are all amazing. They are all so sweet, welcoming, stylish and professional. My favorite part about this salon is that they are a team of empowering women. The receptionist is SO sweet and welcoming. Abby gives the BEST washes and does great single process application/color and beautiful blow drys. Amanda and Wave are amazing colorists and stylists. The girls are a real dream team. Amanda is also an amazing makeup artist. Leaves you looking truly flawless. They are all true visionaries. Looking for a makeover or just a pick me up look no further, Amanda is your girl. I met Amanda last year and she took the time to talk to me about my hair and what would be best for me. I was hooked at “I will make you beautiful”. Now my hair style and color flatters me and my skin tone. Where ever I go I always get complements.I highly recommend Amanda not only is she amazing at doing hair, she also does beautiful makeup.Everyone at Vain is so personable and they become like family vs just going to a salon to get beautified. For many, moving conjures up visions of new beginnings, adventure and exploring new neighborhoods. For me, it meant boxes, lots of painful KonMari moments and worst of all, leaving my beloved hairdresser. I fought it. For two years I would drive back and forth to Boston, but too many traffic jams later, I ventured into a local salon…and paid for it.
