It’s a 25 minute trip for us, but easily worth it.

Before coming into Pure Paws last week, I was going to Ivy Pets in Tribecca where I had some bad experiences. Previously, I paid over $1000 to take an unnecessary X-ray where I had to wait over 24 hours for results. At Pure Paws, they saw my dog Jack immediately and I received results / analysis for his X-ray in minutes.

Additionally, for his visit, X-ray, and medication I paid just over $600, far less for way better service. Also, everyone was extremely nice and helpful and Curly at the front desk even left me with some nice gifts for Jack at the end of my visit. Will definitely be making this my new clinic for Jack.“

“Not a long wait. Everyone at the front desk knowledgeable and helpful. Vet Techs and Dr. Lara professional, listen well and are matter of fact during the examination of my cat. Advise was welcomed and appreciated so that I may maintain my cat's health and happiness. I am very thankful for all who work there.“

“We found Dr. Solomon last summer. Our first visit was for our cat, Loki, to be neutered. I was impressed with how much time Doctor Solomon took with us to explain everything during the consultation. Much different atmosphere than my previous vet. Everything also went great with the neutering and the cost was very affordable. Our second visit was with my senior dog, who after having a couple bad experiences at the previous vet was a little skittish of the vet and they were no longer even able to get blood work from her without her whining and crying. This is a dog that doesn’t typically cry over anything. Dr. Solomon took this into consideration, shaved the area, used calming petting and other techniques to keep her calm and was able to get blood. All the vet techs at the office genuinely love animals and you can tell they love their job. We have recently had some health scares with Loki and Dr. Solomon has been so good at explaining everything and giving us options. He’s always also given multiple options for a treatment when possible in case cost is a factor. His front desk staff is very professional and friendly. I am so glad that we found Bronx County animal Hospital. We plan on continuing bringing our present and future furry children to him!“

They were both deeply kind and courteous. They thoroughly examined and explained the existing documentation + considered all the possibilities given my boy’s medical history. “I brought my beloved dog Vanna to be put to sleep on June 7th to Meadowlands Veterinary Hospital . Vanna was 17 years old and was completely blind. Her blindness didn't stop her from being physically active and she was always on the move. Unfortunately there were other issues which made it impossible for Vanna to continue being active. Vanna was seen by Dr Meza. She was so patient with me and gave me all the time I needed to hold Vanna and cry and just say goodbye to my little beautiful baby. I didn't feel pressured at all. Dr Meza explained the entire procedure to me and told me when I was ready to let Vanna go to let her know. I was holding Vanna when she passed. I wept so much but I truly felt it was the best thing I could do for my sweet girl. I would definitely recommend Dr Meza or Dr Marteney.
