“My baby had an ear infection and was in pain but of all the vets I called and I called over 70 - only 2 offered to help without charging me a ton! And Whiskers and Paws was one of those extra special clinics willing to help us. I’m a divorced single Mom of 4 putting myself thru school right now and most vets had the “money first” attitude. I was so angry and saddened by that. Poor doesn’t mean you don’t want great care for your fur babies or a handout. All we want is to care for our babies! Most vets wanted $200-$400 JUST to walk in the door! But not Whiskers & Paws… they gave me fair prices and they have walk in days (same price)! I didn’t use them but only because I got an earlier appointment elsewhere. But they have good prices and Karla was informative and helpful and super concerned! She didn’t treat me poorly just because i didn’t have tons of money! Thank you Whiskers and Paws and extra thanks to Karla! You were awesome! They are lucky to have you! And when I need vet care again for our Gator Boy I’ll definitely come here!“
“I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Pressley & his team @ Brookdale AH. I have 2 needy cat family members - one diabetic and one asthmatic. I was 100% not satisfied with my previous vet of many years and was apprehensive about changing vets without knowing what it would be like. Going on quite a few recommendations I transferred to BDAH last summer. Within 6 months, my older cat, Lazzie had a life or death situation. Dr. Pressley & Sam (and other staff) went completely out of their way, every single day, to cater to me & Lazzie. It felt as if I was his only patient. His ability to deliver a science based approach that is methodical, along with compassion, and hard working ethics is better than I’ve ever experienced with any medical professional. Any vet can do checkups - when there is trouble brewing - that’s when you see what the vet & their practice are made of. I am extremely grateful I made this very important switch.“

“I cannot say enough good things about this veterinarian clinic. Everyone is so nice and Dr Allers is an exceptional dr. I have one dog who is a rescue and was abused, so needless to say he doesn't trust people easily and it can make for some challenging visits. The very first visit Dr Allers took Murphy and just walked him around the clinic trying to build up his trust. He performed a surgery on him last year and I could not be more appreciative of the care and compassion he showed. From the beginning he took the time to discuss the surgery with me and to answer any questions I had. He also responded to emails I sent after the surgery even when he was off work. At a couple of follow-up visits he actually picked Murphy up and carried him into the clinic when Murphy refused to go inside and this isn't a small dog! He has gone above and beyond to make modifications at each visit so Murphy isn't as scared and to continue to build that trust. This is treatment we never received at our previous vet and honestly not something you are probably going to get at many vet clinics. The techs and front desk staff are also very friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to help. I will continue to bring my dogs to Mint Hill Animal Hospital!“

“We were referred to CARE by our family vet for an X Ray on our dogs chest because it looked like there was a mass. I’ll keep this short-Dr. Carlin was nothing short of amazing. The compassion in her voice, the patience she had as we took the time to comprehend the news she was giving and the decisions we had to make. This was around 10:30 at night, as she was on night shift. When we had to bring our girl back at 7 am for our final goodbyes (even though we thought we would have her at least another week)…the woman at the desk said Dr Carlin was gone for the night and it would be someone else. We totally understood but we’re sad because she knew the situation the best. They had us walk into a side door with our baby instead of through the lobby and made it so private. They walked us through everything with love and compassion and in walked Dr Carlin. We had to ask the woman at the desk that was helping us and she told us Dr Carlin hadn’t left yet and new she wanted to be the doctor to help us with Averie. They were amazing. When everything was over we were able to walk out of the side door without passing by a lobby filled with people, all paperwork is done before hand so you can sit with your baby or leave quickly. They made our loss just a little bit easier and that we are forever grateful for.“
“I rarely post reviews on establishments but we had an extraordinarily great experience at this one. We live in Burlington NC and had just been notified that we had a family emergency in the Charlotte NC area and had to find IMMEDIATE daycare and boarding for our 2 year old beagle. A shout-out to "Sydney" for her tender care of our family. She immediately created an account for our dog, took her in for an evaluation (social, temperament etc) and stated that, based on the evaluation they would either keep her in group or in individual care...but that regardless...they would care for Binkie as long as it took for us to be with our family at the hospital. We were gone for 3 full days and nights and our family members did not survive. Since we were not in our hometown we would have lost precious time with our loved ones had we needed to go back and forth from the hospital to care for Binkie. To Sydney and all of you at PetSuites Prosperity Ridge: We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for caring for us so beautifully through the love you showed to Binkie during this tragedy. “I came in last night around 2/3am in tears and an absolute mess with my dog . after test and x-rays i made the decision to put my baby down and the staff that worked that shift were amazing the empathy and compassion they showed me was above and beyond. I’ve never experienced anything like that , they deserve the world the nurse even let me keep the blankets he was in and offered me his paw prints and they were boxed up and tied with a bow. One of the worst nights i’ve ever had and they made me feel heard and welcomed thank you to those ladies ! “
