Our very old roof had hail damage and we chose North Point to take on the project because of North Point's representative, Alex's, patience and clarity. Our long-time insurance covered us well, but negotiating the cost coverage was long and painful. Happily, those negotiations were handled completely by Alex. The roof was put on in a day and the clean-up was thorough. Our questions, which were plentiful, were always answered completely, patiently and kindly. Communication throughout the project was always clear and we didn't have to hover over the company to get information - it was offered proactively. “My wife and I were so impressed with this company from the first quote to the finished product. I first started looking into our siding replacement project about a year prior and got many quotes and met with several companies. Steve's quote was by far the lowest and also the most comprehensive. They helped us come up with a design that would be practical and also look good using a computer modeling program. He had high quality sub-contractors lined up for painting, new door install, and electrical modifications so we didn't need to coordinate much at all.One example of the type of quality you can expect: Near the end of the project we had a mail slot installed and trimmed around over board and batten. I noticed it was very slightly crooked checking it with a level, but not really noticeable to the naked eye. I was just going to let it go, and I didn't mention anything to the team. The next day the lead worker Alfredo took down and re-did the whole thing so it was absolutely perfect!Highly recommend this company.“
“Phil P. has been great to work with. He is professional, kind and patient. We were immediately impressed with his knowledge of the industry. We had our roof and gutters replaced by First Choice Exteriors after a hail storm. The roofers worked fast and finished both the house and garage in one day. I found a handful of nails and other debris about the yard and driveway but it was dark when they packed up so I’m not surprised a few things got missed. Jeremy the gutter expert was efficient and installed nice big gutters. Everything is looking great and functioning well. Phil worked directly with our insurance company so we didn’t have to. The only complaint I have is about the subcontractor they used for painting the exterior. They power washed our old cedar siding and painted over it while it was still wet.“

“Seven years ago I replaced fourteen 80 year old sash windows in my home with A-Craft double pane. Their windows are an exceptional product. Due to new exterior trim clad on my home I planned to keep my old zinc seals on the sills. A-Craft customized my new sashes to accommodate the zinc seal. They also made custom stop sticks I attached (Velcro) to my new jams for security when the sashes are open. The sashes function perfectly, no drafts, rattles or struggle to open. They are easily removed from the inside for cleaning. I replaced all my sash windows and storms (Allied Aluminum, Mpls) for much less than new frame and sash cost (I did it myself....easily).“

They came back and did a double check on what we wanted once we decided to go with them to make sure we were all on the same page. “Have had these in back porch since summer 2021. They are great, but in the winter, they shrink and therefore do not remain closed - Even when we try to lock them as we push them up. They will just not stay up in below 0 temps. They do not fully fall. Just an inch gap at the top“
