Ardmor Construction did an excellent job on our house and garage. They had both done in one day, very professional, courteous workers, my gosh aside from amazing professional work, both house and garage are amazing. The workers who put the roof on were extremely courteous and friendly and did an amazing job with our roof. I still go out and look at how nice my roof looks 4 years later.

But what really impressed me is how well they cleaned up. By the time they left before 7pm, the only way we knew they'd been here at all is by the new roof and the dumpster in the driveway waiting to go. They also came back the next day and looked for more clutter they may have missed and had the dumpster removed.

Seriously professional company and we have a 30 year guarantee on our roof, I am impressed with how well it looks now. If you need a new roof, look up Ardmor. They work with your insurance adjusters and with you to get you the best possible outcome. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

The estimate we got was very thorough, and the cost came in very close to the original, given that we were expecting that the roof would need re-decking. Jim came up with a great suggestion for solving our chimney problem that saved us several thousand dollars. “Nate Plagge came to give us a estimate to repair a 1.5 year old roof. Unfortunately the General Contractor who we hired to do the roof completed the work so poorly the roof will be a complete tear off and reroof. We recently had water intrusion as well from the bad roofing job from the General Contractor.

Nate and Zach were able to identify where the leak was coming from and seal the leak until we have them install the new roof.

I highly recommend Nate and Zach as they are very knowledgeable and professional individuals.

“Lance's knowledge initially won the bid to replace and extend our deck. However, the attention to detail was absent.

During the bidding process it was discussed the deck extension was intended for the grill, and we needed five feet. After the install, the grill did not fit. Lance admitted he should have calculated differently, considering the addition of the bar rail on the railing. Adding another six inches would have met our request.

After completion, I noticed the screw covers were not applied consistently. Lance explained that the drink rail restricted placement and that the installation crew should have used black screws, not gold ones. Unfortunately, replacing the screws now would compromise the deck's integrity. The installer resolved the issue two weeks later.“

“I got new siding and a new roof by Thompson last July, with final completion of a remaining task the following August. The workmanship was excellent, with detailed attention on the siding and trim. Peter and crew took extra time to make sure the porch (which was sinking since it was built in 1919) had stable footings, and they jacked it up to make it level with the house to complete the siding. It meant the doors and windows were now plum, whereas before they were tilted, hence the remaining task to fill in gaps of siding on the interior porch and at the door (all were unexpected to the original plan). I had some frustration with nailing timelines down and follow up: I had a limited window in which the work needed to happen (6 weeks) because I was otherwise away and I wanted to be there to oversee the work. The roof and siding were completed the morning I was leaving town, which was stressful, but it got done. In the end I would use them again because quality workmanship is more important to me than project management (and more rare), but know that they are less strong at organization and timelines/appointments. I experienced more on the fly follow up, texts and drop by questions (usually on evenings or Saturday) to get remaining insurance estimates, measurements, colors, payment etc. He seemed totally swamped, but I think this is just the way Peter rolls.“
