“Being a first-time home buyer, I did not expect to be filing an insurance claim 3 months after I purchased my home. When I purchased my home, the roof was 20 years old, and I did not expect to get any coverage on my roof. 2 Hailstorms in the first 3 months caused damage and leaking I could not ignore. Because of the age of my roof, I debated to myself filling a claim, unsure if the hail damage was going to be enough to outweigh the age of the roof. I expected the insurance to brush it off and deny any claim.

I ended up choosing a contractor that did not end up working out and was back looking for a contractor 2 months after the storm. I had leaks in my roof and was getting very stressed out through the whole process. I was contacted by jeff and Danny after looking around on Angie's list. I did not expect to get my phone bombarded by 20 different contractors just by looking into and starting a job on Angie's list. From my very first interaction with them I was happy the previous contractor didn't work out. Jeff and Danny were very professional and helped talk me into making a claim. Danny was amazing working with the insurance team and Jeff helped ease my mind every step of the way. Their due diligence and professional work ethic helped get a full claim for my roof. I don't have a huge roof but the team that worked on it did a wonderful job and was completed in one day. The office team was very helpful with all my questions going back and forth with my insurance and Danny and Jeff were always available when I needed them.

“Calvin came out to take a look at our roof after a series of storms. He did two things I do not think any other roofer would do, he told me our roof has not sustained any damage and he found a piece of flashing that was loose so he fixed it without charge! There is no question I will call these guys when we do need some work done.“

“If I could add 5 more stars, I would.
My wife and I bought our first home in December of '23. It was a remodeled 1948 home and we were led to believe it was perfect by our inspection company. (long, long story).
We started to have a leak in our kitchen that we had no idea what it could be, as we were led to believe the roof was around 7 years old.
Immediately we were referred to Jason at Elite Exteriors who almost next day came out to inspect the roof for himself. When he got down, he was very amazed at the state of our roof and of a lot of our trim around our windows.
He told us the roof was 30 years old to his best guess and needed to be replaced right away.
We called the city and found out the roof permit was last pulled in 1994, he was spot on!
Next up was checking the attic so he could see if there was any ice dams building up. When he went up he was amazed to see the same insulation from 1948 as well as some less than ideal electrical work. He immediately got me in touch with an electrician who came out within days to repair everything and even checked all of our electrical to ensure our safety. (Replaced all of our kitchen lighting as they were all poorly installed and causing heat issues)
Then it was onto gutting and replacing the insulation in the attic.
He coordinated with multiple companies and people to get everything done in one day.
Attic was completely gutted while another team replaced the entire roof system.
Then the next day the insulation team came back to respray and completely insulate our attic to the highest quality.

Jason also coordinated to have 6 more soffit vents cut on the exterior of our home and block off 2 side vents to help it breathe better to prevent ice build up as well as caulking all the windows and doors on our home!

At the end of the project, Jason himself came back out to walk the two roofs, and check our yard and siding for anything less than 100% perfect. He noticed some small things that I wouldn't have even noticed, but he had his team come back the same day to clean the small imperfections.
(A streak on our siding from old shingles falling, a single shingle popped up a bit, simple small stuff like that. But the attention to detail was very appreciated!!)

The entire situation has been extremely stressful and scary for my wife and I. Being first time home owners, we don't really know what we are doing. But with Jason @ Elite, we felt like we had some control and we knew we had the best team in our corner.
