“I was visiting Minneapolis from out of town. The first day I was here my glasses broke. I arrived at Moss Optical 30 minutes before closing time. The two women behind the counter were so very friendly and nice. They repaired my glasses And when they were finished, I asked them how much I owed them and they said nothing. They were actually going to let me walk out of there without paying anything! I gave them a cash tip for so patiently and sweetly helping me. While I was waiting, they also recommended several different eyeglass frames to me. Every pair they selected for me looked great so not only does Moss Optical have a store full of very stylish, good looking frames, but they also employ some of the nicest people I have ever met. “Went to this clinic today November 12, 2024 to see if they would do a "fitting" of my new glasses that I received today thru USPS that the VA sends me each year after my eye exam. I figured to try this route instead of going to the Minneapolis VA hospital to have the glasses fitted trying to save gas money. The VA told me clinics like this one would do fittings either for free or charge a small fee to veterans. This clinic doesn't charge a fee. :)

With that said. Once I entered the clinic was greeted by a nice young lady. This place had a few customers at the time, but I waited my turn and as a military retiree has time to "kill". Lol. Anywho, I waited maybe 20 mins for someone to fit my glasses. They did a good job at it and my glasses fit nicely on my face.

The young lady who did the fitting told me that they give a 30% military discount for cutting lens, and frame purchases which would come in handy. As the VA only gives out one pair of glasses each year. So, in essence if I break, lose, etc. these glasses then I must pay out of pocket for another pair. I asked her if they would establish a record at their business for future needs. All in all the experience was nice and professional felt welcomed as well. Would recommend to fellow veterans.“

“I moved to Minnesota from Iowa and needed to find a new eye doctor. Moving to Kennedy Vision was seamless and easy, and I was able to get scheduled very quickly. The office in Plymouth was clean and everyone was very friendly. I ordered my contacts through them and they arrived very quickly. I did see an update that they requiring all patients to do the Optomap exam, which is not fully covered by insurance (I believe it's a $39 copay for patients 18+). While this may be beneficial, I do with there was an option to stick with the basic exam that is covered. Overall, I have had a good experience so far with Kennedy Vision!“
