“We hired Precision Landscape & Tree to remove a massive and problematic Cottonwood tree 6 feet from our dining room window and to prune another in the back of the yard. We also needed some advice on recabling a Honey Locust and pruning a large Maple in the front yard.

This was a huge job broken up into two days. First, the team came to inspect the Honey Locust and prune the Maple. Then on day two, they tackled the two Cottonwoods. The crew arrived at 7:00 a.m., polite, friendly, and ready to work. Once the crane was set up, everyone worked like a well-oiled machine. The efficiency in keeping the job moving, simultaneously keeping the street clear of debris, was terrific to see.

“It was so great to work with Matt and his team. Our project included removing a bunch of river rocks, replacing some plants, removing a maple that was falling apart, redoing some edging around the front and side of house, replacing the concrete entry walkway with pavers, and replacing the wood retaining wall that was original to our house. They got it all done in about five days this fall of 2025! They were quick without sacrificing quality.

In the weeks prior, we met with Matt to help him understand what we were looking for and he was very responsive and helpful to any questions or concerns we had. We had reached out to a few different landscapers from the Gerten’s list of landscapers. This landscaping team was not only available when we needed them, but the estimated costs were reasonably priced, Matt himself was responsive, and he seemed like he would be a really nice and respectful person to work with (and he was)! I would definitely recommend this company and would go back to them for future landscaping projects.

“Very happy with Lone Oak. This is my third summer in my house. They installed the system here so I continued with them. They show up on time. When something has needed to be fixed, they've done it reasonably priced. Especially true when the entire back of the system was destroyed by the company who installed my fence.

Edit: Now my 9th summer. Lone Oak has still been great. Turn-on/blow-out prices have increased but still well worth it.

When the city did backflow inspections, I had zero issues. My system had been installed properly and I didn't have to do anything.

This spring, my front zone didn't work when they came to turn on the system. They were back today. I came home to huge holes in my front yard. The roots of the maple tree in the boulevard had pinched off the lines. They bypassed the problem.

As they were finishing, I was shocked that I could barely tell they had been here. (First two photos were the huge holes. Last one was right after they left.)

Bob and the guys at Lone Oak seem to have installed a quality system. And when issues have arisen, not their fault, they have resolved them for me for reasonable prices.“
