Oakwood did an amazing job from the moment we first arrived to discuss my mother‘s service, to the moment we left the gravesite.
The atmosphere inside the building is absolutely amazing. It was elegant, classy and artistic and was a perfect environment that my mother would’ve loved.
When we first met with JR, I said I wanted a close casket because I was never comfortable with how people looked and I didn’t want my last memory of seeing my mother to be a bad one.
As JR got to know more about my mom and our family, he commented that he knows my mom was an artist and that he too was an artist in his trade and he promised me she would look beautiful. So I trusted him.
JR is truly an artist and my mom looked beautiful and truly at peace. I was amazed.
They worked with us to put together a great digital photo presentation during the visitation and also during the songs in the service.
They also handled all the details from organizing with the cemetery to the pastor to the thank you cards. It was seamless.
In summary, I would highly recommend Oakwood to provide you with the care, compassion, professionalism, respect and service you will want when planning a service for your loved ones.
