Oakwood did an amazing job from the moment we first arrived to discuss my mother‘s service, to the moment we left the gravesite.
The atmosphere inside the building is absolutely amazing. It was elegant, classy and artistic and was a perfect environment that my mother would’ve loved.
When we first met with JR, I said I wanted a close casket because I was never comfortable with how people looked and I didn’t want my last memory of seeing my mother to be a bad one.

When our mom passed away - we were at lost where to start and how to plan her funeral. We were contacted by Joua Ly of Aurora Ly LLC and she connected us with JR at Oakwood Funeral. Everything was advised and directed with patience, love, and care. The funeral home itself was clean and beautiful. The room was split with a privacy wall so that there is a coffee/dining area which we were able to use to serve a quick lunch with no trouble. Our mom’s funeral service may have been small but when a cousin told me she was reminded of a garden - I knew that we had chosen the perfect place to celebrate our mom’s life one last time. She was a lover of flowers after all. We have a beautiful last memory of our mom thanks to JR and team at Oakwood.
