“I was visiting Minneapolis from out of town. The first day I was here my glasses broke. I arrived at Moss Optical 30 minutes before closing time. The two women behind the counter were so very friendly and nice. They repaired my glasses And when they were finished, I asked them how much I owed them and they said nothing. They were actually going to let me walk out of there without paying anything! I gave them a cash tip for so patiently and sweetly helping me. While I was waiting, they also recommended several different eyeglass frames to me. Every pair they selected for me looked great so not only does Moss Optical have a store full of very stylish, good looking frames, but they also employ some of the nicest people I have ever met. One standout feature is their use of cutting-edge technology — they were able to perform a thorough eye exam without dilating my pupils, which was a huge plus in terms of comfort and convenience.

However, it's worth noting that this advanced technology comes with an additional fee of nearly $50, and patients aren't given the option to decline it in favor of traditional dilation. While the convenience is definitely appreciated, it would be nice to have a choice, especially for those who may be more budget-conscious. Just something to be aware of when planning your visit.“

“I moved to Minnesota from Iowa and needed to find a new eye doctor. Moving to Kennedy Vision was seamless and easy, and I was able to get scheduled very quickly. The office in Plymouth was clean and everyone was very friendly. I ordered my contacts through them and they arrived very quickly. I did see an update that they requiring all patients to do the Optomap exam, which is not fully covered by insurance (I believe it's a $39 copay for patients 18+). While this may be beneficial, I do with there was an option to stick with the basic exam that is covered. Overall, I have had a good experience so far with Kennedy Vision!“

“At the beginning of 2023 I was rear-ended at a stoplight. I thought it was a small thing, even though I had some strange symptoms at the time. I felt discombobulated, nauseas, my ribs hurt, I felt panicky, and jittery. I became very tired and was told a couple days of rest was good, but I was fine. I began having deep throbbing headaches and sharp migraines (which I'd never experienced like this) on the right side of my face. I had limited tolerance to light, I couldn't read without blurry or double vision, and I wanted to sleep all of the time. I had vertigo, losses of balance, falls, and kept dropping things unexpectedly. After a couple of months of Physical Therapy, Concussion Therapy, and Occupational Therapy most of my symptoms persisted. It became clear to the Concussion and Occupational therapists that there was a visual component that they were not able to address. My Optometrist gave me a referral to the Minnesota Vision Therapy Center.
During my consultation and initial sessions, my therapist scrapped the surface of what I was experiencing and validated the symptoms with clear explanations of what was happening and why. When I told her that I felt like I was going crazy, she reassured me that what I was going through was not rare, though it is rarely recognized and treated for what it is. I was experiencing a convergence insufficiency stemming from a whiplash concussion; Invisible to most onlookers, and potentially devastating to daily life.
It was easy to work with the staff on scheduling appointments, completing paperwork, and financial resources. The therapists are kind, compassionate, considerate of patient needs/experiences, and engaging. They use a wide range of exercises and tasks to address visual impairments and tailor them to each client. They excel at putting clients at ease while challenging them to reach for the next goal.
I cannot thank the folks at the Minnesota Vision Therapy Center enough. I would not be returning to my career as fully intact without their treatment and support.“

Dr. Mueller is the first optometrist to be truly invested in my eye health and worked with me to figure out why my eyes were so irritated all the time! I was incredibly indecisive today while picking out new glasses and spent at least 45 minutes trying on and comparing frames, and the ladies working were so patient and kind, giving me honest opinions when I asked but never making me feel rushed or like they were annoyed by me taking so long. Once I narrowed it down to a few they helped advise me what was best suited for the type of lenses I needed and walked me through what to expect from my first trifocals. They pointed out sales and let me know about deals but didn’t push me to spend more than I was comfortable with while making sure I was getting exactly what i wanted out of my new glasses.
