My brother reached out to Drain Solutions and Chris was at our place within the hour to resolve the problem. He explained to us what he thought was the problem and a plan to resolve it. He was efficient, quick and cleaned everything up before he left. The new furnace is in and the house is toasty! We have a fancy new system with a heat pump, a super efficient air filter, and a thermostat that I can control with my phone! What will they think of next? We used a local company, Comfort Matters. We didn't get a bunch of estimates because we were in dire straits, freezing our tuchuses off. We had contact with several young people from start to finish: repair guy, estimator guy, duct cleaning guys, installers, electricians, supervisors...each and every one of them was competent, polite, helpful, and above all, kind. What a great experience! The system seems to be working, we should get rebates and credits, and lower energy bills too!

Thanks to friends and neighbors who offered help, space heaters and a place to stay if it got too bad (it didn't, with only the last night being below zero degrees Farenheit).

“We had an urgent need for a new water softener as ours was leaking. Tyler got it ordered as soon as we called! The next week he came to install it and after bringing in the new softener, there was still water on the floor. He traced it back and saw the water HEATER had corrosion inside the tank at the bottom and at the top where the water connection comes in. Now we were looking at replacing the water heater too. Tyler was able to give us a fair price for both the softener as well as the heater and was able to install both right away! “Bought my home in Elk River with a LuxAire LX series high efficiency furnace and A/C forced air system that was installed by Phil's 2 years earlier (2010). Ten years later I had to replace the A/C capacitor which is very typical. I had Aquarius do an A/C tune up and the Freon was low about 2 Lbs. Not sure if hardware is leaking or the lines connections. I was told the "A" coil in the furnace was re-used, probably the previous owners decision, and needs to be replaced since it's dripping water on the furnace heating coils from the pan above. Looking for quotes on new A/C system now. I guess these systems really do only last 10 - 15 years. The install work looks to be top notch. I plan on having a Carrier system installed now.“
