I was even MORE pleased with the results with Julie. I didn't lose any color during the healing process compared to my old place which gave me perfect brows. Julie was very professional with her technique and expertise. I highly recommend her for new and existing brow work if you lost the original person who did them.“

After reaching out to them via text message I received a prompt response with a scheduled time to see Anna. The communication was professional and thorough, and I’ve never had a more seamless experience coordinating a visit as this one.

To put it simply, Anna was amazing.
I showed up at our scheduled time of 5PM on Saturday, and she was welcoming and made me feel immediately comfortable as soon as I walked through the front door.

We had a nice conversation through the duration of my tattooing, and the result speaks for itself. She is undoubtably gifted in her craft and I feel lucky to have had her as my artist.

I never had a concrete artist I see to get work done, but now I do. After many tattoos over the course of nearly 20 years I feel I found the artist I want to work with moving forward for future work. How lucky am I to have stumbled on this special shop and thoughtful artist?

I will be back without a doubt, and in fact ready to schedule my next piece with Anna!

“I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is welcoming, the artists and staff have great camaraderie, and everyone goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. No matter what questions you have, they’re happy to answer them without ever making you feel foolish.

One thing that really stands out is how much they genuinely care about their community. I don’t live in the area, but it’s obvious from the way they talk about the neighborhood and support other local businesses that they take pride in being part of it.

I walked in by chance last year, and that one visit was all it took. It’s the only tattoo shop I’ll go to now. I can’t recommend Nokomis Tattoo enough.“

“Neighborhood is a great spot. The shop is clean, calm, and welcoming. I found it a comfortable place to get a tattoo.

I specifically got my tattoo with Ian Richards and I cannot say enough good things about him. He took my inspiration drawings and drew what I asked for while adding his own personal style. He worked with me through last minute details, taking my input seriously, offering opinions when asked but never pushing. If you ever need a needle break - he will gladly give it to you, just ask. Most of all, he was genuinely excited about the tattoo. It looks GREAT. I'd recommend him for anything, but especially if you're getting an animal I'd really consider Ian. He loves animals and does a great job on them, including mine.

However, vibes of shop are overall 10/10 so if you're considering another artist I'd still recommend.“
