“My last review of Dr. Leung was in Oct. 2009. My opinion hasn't changed a bit from then till now. I saw Dr. Johnny Leung yesterday, and he is STILL the VERY BEST eye dr. and I hope he is at this practice for MANY years to come! I can't imagine going anywhere else now that I've had the BEST! My husband has to come with me each time, (for his appt too), since I'm so afraid of going to the eye dr. He mentioned afterward, on the way home, that, and I quote, "Thankfully Dr. Leung is still young so will be there awhile!" I couldn't agree more! Why do I like this eye dr. so much? He is patient, and that is saying something for someone like me who is scared to death of the eye dr. I don't know where this comes from, but the why is beside the point. He is so patient with me, takes time to explain about my eyes and shows the pictures they took of my eyes. He did the same for my husband. He lets us stay in the same room during our eye exams and that helps to calm me. Now for the staff...they are all exceptional! Friendly, answers any questions, and are patient when looking for frames when I can't decide which ones I would look best in. (Neither of us needed frames yesterday at our appt. but from past experience know this to be true). You don't feel rushed here, and everyone makes you feel like you are the ONLY patient they have! THAT...is EXCEPTIONAL patient care in my humble opinion! Thanks Dr. Leung and staff!!“

She’s willing to do what it takes to help make the lenses fit comfortably and improve my vision, including working with both vision and health insurance and the use of new types of sclerals. “My first visit yesterday at University Eye Care was with Dr. Mark Rolain. The process was streamlined and very efficient, I felt that my appointment went very well, even though I didn't like my diagnosis, but that's not their fault! LOL! I thought my treatment and the scheduling of my cataract surgery on both eyes went very well! Looking forward to seeing clearly again, I go back in about a week to have my eyes "Measured" before my scheduled surgeries and so far I thought the staff was outstanding, thorough, I left there feeling as though I picked a very reputable eye care clinic for my needs! Patients need to learn to trust in their doctors as the knowledgeable professionals that they are! Extremely happy with the service I received! BRAVO!“
“I feel terrible about my previous negative post concerning Optik. I've been a devotee for years because Amy and Kirsten know my tastes and strive to help me discover styles they know I will like. They also always make the best use of my vision insurance. Not only are they polite and gracious, but a visit has become an enjoyable experience. I can be an enormous pain in the posterior. I reacted childishly and with rudeness over a minor issue. Not as a cop-out, but SSDI awarded me disability for that honky thing between my ears and my emotional maturity of a six-year old. It's not like I dreamed of being a head-case any more than someone in a wheelchair would make that a goal. I over-reacted and I was wrong to publicly suck my thumb and pout. It's a terrific store with a terrific staff including Dr. Joe and the volunteer work he does to improve people's lives in Africa. A sincere apology is all I can offer at this point.“

“I have been going to Primary eye care for over 15 years for exams and glasses. I have been very satisfied with their professionalism. I recently had to have an adjustment of my frames. The adjustment was done and out I walked. Sometime later my wife told me that I had an indentation on each side of my head where the arms of the frames went. My glasses kept slipping and they were very uncomfortable. I went back for another adjustment and Michelle was working. Bottom line. The previous "adjustment" damaged the frame and Michelle replaced the frame and fit them perfectly to my head. I will keep going there but will make sure Michelle is working when I go. GREAT JOB Michelle.“
